Yellow Discharge from Ear
This is about my mother. There used to be sometimes yellow discharge from her ear causing pain and discomfort from past few years. Around 2 years ago, she visited a local govt hospital, doc said she has a small hole somewhere in her ear. She was given some advice and medicine but problem is still there. I recently got to know about this when I saw a a cotton in her right ear.
P. S. There used to be fight between my late father and mother which I think is the cause of this problem. Please suggest does this problem indicates a major disease.

If there is a perforation in her ear drum, it can be operated. It's not a life threatening condition.
