Zincovit for newborn
My baby is 8days old, doctor has prescribed zincovit 0.5ml daily. But my baby is not liking it..is it mandatory to give that drops? He is taking milk properly...

There  are many  reasons to give  Zincovit drop which need to decided by your local pediatrician who has attended your baby, It should always be mixed in expressed breast milk and then given to baby

Multivitamins are not compulsory for term newborns but compulsory for preterm babies.Vitamin D supplementation at 400iu daily is necessary until 1year spartan from breast feeding.

If your baby is born at Term. Then no need for zincovit or any other multivitamin. Only give vit D drops. Continue exclusive breast feeding

If your baby was a healthy, full term baby ( birth weight above 2.5 kg), then zincovit is not required But give Vitamin D drops

Multivitamin s are not mandatory. But Vitamin D recommended till 1 year of age.

Not mandatory ....but would be really nice if u could give multi vitamin drops ....Pls give vit D drops ....
