Visited Dr. Suman Lal (Obstetrician) For Endometriosis Treatment
Happy with: Treatment satisfaction
This one comes straight from my heart , unalloyed admiration for an exceptionally skilled doctor
My wife was a severe case of endometriosis and also had a very large fibroid , large enough for an invasive surgery for its removal
Dr Suman Lal wad God send for us , the reasons , i share here
1.Her personal connect
She makes an instant connect , with her openness , availability even at odd hours for the patient , even on whatsapp . Its amazing considering her busy schedule
2.Clear Headed line of treatment
She does not sugar coat treatment lines required , upfront and she sticks to what she says , that instills confidence , we were in safe hands
3. The surgery - 7 hours long
It was very long operation , 10 cm size fibroid was removed , large scale removal of endometriosis , some from very delicate regions like the ano rectal region , intestines .
After almost a month there are no complications , my wife feels relief , which she never felt for a very long time, we wish we had come to Dr Suman Lal before , rather than going to multiple doctors who sugar coated a bitter pill , it had to be operated , and she was bang on ... on the line of treatment.
Mind you one thing , Endometriosis requires a different skillset than normal gynae process , it needs a skilled hand to ensure no complications ,
In this case it needed both laproscopy as well as invasive surgery.
4.Aesthetics - Bare Minimum scars
Despite such a complicated and invasive surgery , DrSuman lal ensured minimal incision , and at a place which surely will allow my wife the freedom to wear any dress.
5. Post Operative care
Minimal medicines , patient comfort , and caring words.
The family members beware , she will ensure you take care of your patient, she is a hardline if you deviate , i personally respect that , coz you cant miss any medicine, dr visit in such serious cases.
For her , her patient is paramount
6. She has the ethics that seems of the yesteryears
High on ethics , she will follow process to the Tee , inform about your queries , every single query. She will do it herself and not send someone to connect to you.
Why such a long review
I chose to put so much effort , coz she had put just as much effort for my wifes case.
Endometriosis is an increasing phenomenon , which if not done properly or on time can lead to complications , and not every doctor who is a gynae can be hands on in these complicated surgeries which require both skill and clear line of thought.
Without batting an eyelid , i would say she is the one to go to.
And to end She is an MD from AIIMS , and it shows in everything she does or says.
Visited Dr. Aseemita Debata (Obstetrician)

I don't have enough words to thank Dr. Aseemita for her guidance throughout my pregnancy. For my first appointment I decided to visit her based on other people's experience shared online and post my first two visits, we knew she is the one we want to have as our gynaecologist. She explained everything in a very simple manner and took time to explain everything. One of her best quality is that she is never in a rush and always gave us a lot of her time during every appointment to explain things and answer all of our questions. The most important part was that she was always available through messages and calls, even during night hours and would answer even the silliest questions I would ask. Since this was my first pregnancy, I used to get scared of every little thing and at such a time you need someone reliable to help you out and Dr. Aseemita was always available whenever I reached out to her. There are doctors who wouldnt even speak to you without an appointment but Dr. Aseemita was so wonderful that even during odd hours she would respond to my messages and calls.
My pregnancy was not very smooth, I had hypothyroid and Cholestasis. During my third trimester, I was also borderline gestational diabetic. Even with all this, and Dr. Aseemita's proper and timely guidance I was able to sail through my pregnancy and had a healthy baby. She never prescribed unwanted medicines and for my GDM also she recommended just dietery changes and I was able to make progress within 2 weeks.
She is immensely knowledgeable and I trusted her like anything which is why when she told me that due to my Cholestasis I would have to be induced at 37-38 weeks, I did not give a second thought and just followed her guidance. At 38 weeks I was manually induced and the labor pain lasted for almost 15 hours. The labor pain was the hardest thing and I gave up almost 20 times that I cant bear this pain and want a Csec to be done. Dr. Aseemita gave me a lot of strength and only because of her calming me down and giving me strength and motivation, I was able to deliver Normally a healthy baby.
I am really grateful and thankful to Dr. Aseemita for everything she did for me. She is an amazing doctor and a wonderful human being. If you are expecting, then you don't even need to give a second thought. She is the best Gynae anyone can have.
Thank you so much Dr. Aseemita, we cant thank you enough.

My mum is 71+ and we went there for third n final opinion. After one hour it was our turn(with the appointment). She got the initial checkup done & I informed them that it’s our third opinion n we hv the scans, but the first doctor said not required as we take our own scans. Then after 30 min in our turn we went to the doctor. She just checked thru the machine, asked for diabetes question that since how many years she has diabetes n what’s the sugar level( which we told).
So that was the only question she asked & said she has cataract n needs operation. So we can decide n proceed with the operation.
We were surprised that nothing was explained, no other questions were asked n what’s the level or condition of her eyes or so nothing…
Then I told her as this is our third opinion. ******** ******* ** ********* ****** ******** ** ***** ****** *** **** ***** ** ******** ** ***** ******** ***** ** ** ******** It was then she actually reacted and we showed her the scans. She saw and then said “o yes swelling is there. Okay you meet dr Purnima tomo as she is retina specialist”.
I asked her again as why she suggested operation without checking properly, to which she said “we do this scan before the operation, u meet my assistant outside, take his number n book an appointment for tomo and then we will see”.
We were so surprised ** *** **** *********** ********** ********** I again asked that assistant, ** ** *** *** ****** ***** ********* She didn’t even tell us about the swelling n all? To which he was unable to answer n said, “I don’t know what mam says, it’s her diagnosis”. Twice thrice I asked him what kind of ********** diagnosis is this?? But he was confused n didn’t say much! We actually thank our stars that we went somewhere else **** *** ********* ** ***** ** ***** ** ******* *** ***** ******* *****
So our question here is,
1) this is what we expect from senior n expert doctors??
2) after paying 1280₹ don’t we deserve at least 12 minutes of the doctor?
3) it isn’t the doctors responsibility to explain the condition to the patient??
4) though it was our third opinion, but otherwise it wasn’t doctor’s duty to explain us the exact stage, level, lens, what cataract lenses are there, n everything about it?
All the hype for which we went there with so much hope , was all in vain after consulting her.
It was indeed an extremely bad experience for us. Always show some respect to the patients time, money and try to educate your patients as they’re not doctors..
