Visited Dr. Suman Lal (Obstetrician) For Endometriosis Treatment
Happy with: Treatment satisfaction
This one comes straight from my heart , unalloyed admiration for an exceptionally skilled doctor
My wife was a severe case of endometriosis and also had a very large fibroid , large enough for an invasive surgery for its removal
Dr Suman Lal wad God send for us , the reasons , i share here
1.Her personal connect
She makes an instant connect , with her openness , availability even at odd hours for the patient , even on whatsapp . Its amazing considering her busy schedule
2.Clear Headed line of treatment
She does not sugar coat treatment lines required , upfront and she sticks to what she says , that instills confidence , we were in safe hands
3. The surgery - 7 hours long
It was very long operation , 10 cm size fibroid was removed , large scale removal of endometriosis , some from very delicate regions like the ano rectal region , intestines .
After almost a month there are no complications , my wife feels relief , which she never felt for a very long time, we wish we had come to Dr Suman Lal before , rather than going to multiple doctors who sugar coated a bitter pill , it had to be operated , and she was bang on ... on the line of treatment.
Mind you one thing , Endometriosis requires a different skillset than normal gynae process , it needs a skilled hand to ensure no complications ,
In this case it needed both laproscopy as well as invasive surgery.
4.Aesthetics - Bare Minimum scars
Despite such a complicated and invasive surgery , DrSuman lal ensured minimal incision , and at a place which surely will allow my wife the freedom to wear any dress.
5. Post Operative care
Minimal medicines , patient comfort , and caring words.
The family members beware , she will ensure you take care of your patient, she is a hardline if you deviate , i personally respect that , coz you cant miss any medicine, dr visit in such serious cases.
For her , her patient is paramount
6. She has the ethics that seems of the yesteryears
High on ethics , she will follow process to the Tee , inform about your queries , every single query. She will do it herself and not send someone to connect to you.
Why such a long review
I chose to put so much effort , coz she had put just as much effort for my wifes case.
Endometriosis is an increasing phenomenon , which if not done properly or on time can lead to complications , and not every doctor who is a gynae can be hands on in these complicated surgeries which require both skill and clear line of thought.
Without batting an eyelid , i would say she is the one to go to.
And to end She is an MD from AIIMS , and it shows in everything she does or says.

Visited Dr. Aseemita Debata (Obstetrician)
Note: This doctor is no longer practicing at Max Hospital
I don't have enough words to thank Dr. Aseemita for her guidance throughout my pregnancy. For my first appointment I decided to visit her based on other people's experience shared online and post my first two visits, we knew she is the one we want to have as our gynaecologist. She explained everything in a very simple manner and took time to explain everything. One of her best quality is that she is never in a rush and always gave us a lot of her time during every appointment to explain things and answer all of our questions. The most important part was that she was always available through messages and calls, even during night hours and would answer even the silliest questions I would ask. Since this was my first pregnancy, I used to get scared of every little thing and at such a time you need someone reliable to help you out and Dr. Aseemita was always available whenever I reached out to her. There are doctors who wouldnt even speak to you without an appointment but Dr. Aseemita was so wonderful that even during odd hours she would respond to my messages and calls.
My pregnancy was not very smooth, I had hypothyroid and Cholestasis. During my third trimester, I was also borderline gestational diabetic. Even with all this, and Dr. Aseemita's proper and timely guidance I was able to sail through my pregnancy and had a healthy baby. She never prescribed unwanted medicines and for my GDM also she recommended just dietery changes and I was able to make progress within 2 weeks.
She is immensely knowledgeable and I trusted her like anything which is why when she told me that due to my Cholestasis I would have to be induced at 37-38 weeks, I did not give a second thought and just followed her guidance. At 38 weeks I was manually induced and the labor pain lasted for almost 15 hours. The labor pain was the hardest thing and I gave up almost 20 times that I cant bear this pain and want a Csec to be done. Dr. Aseemita gave me a lot of strength and only because of her calming me down and giving me strength and motivation, I was able to deliver Normally a healthy baby.
I am really grateful and thankful to Dr. Aseemita for everything she did for me. She is an amazing doctor and a wonderful human being. If you are expecting, then you don't even need to give a second thought. She is the best Gynae anyone can have.
Thank you so much Dr. Aseemita, we cant thank you enough.

Visited Dr. Shanti Swaroop Dhar (Gastroenterologist) For Liver Disease Treatment
Hoped for better: Explanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for moneyDoctor friendliness
I visited Dr. Dhar for my liver issues, which were clearly evident from my symptoms and test reports indicating something seriously wrong with my liver function. He suggested a total of 22,000 INR worth of tests. Initially, he diagnosed me with autoimmune hepatitis. However, after assessing my financial capacity during our third consultation, his demeanor changed drastically. Despite being in considerable pain and having driven myself there without any help, he rudely remarked, "If you had a liver problem, you wouldn't have been able to walk here."
I was stunned by his insensitivity. As I tried to explain my pain, he abruptly suggested I see a neurologist and ordered more tests. ** ** ********* **** * ****** * ****** ******* ** ******* ******** ********* **** *********** *********** * ***** ******* *** ****** ********* **** * *** ********** *** ********* ***** ****** ** *** ****** ********** ******* ** ********* ** ****** **** ******** ** ************** ********** ** ** **** ******** ******** ** **** ********* ** *** ****** **** ** ********* ***** ****** As a doctor, listen to your patients carefully. My mum is 71+ and we went there for third n final opinion. After one hour it was our turn(with the appointment). She got the initial checkup done & I informed them that it’s our third opinion n we hv the scans, but the first doctor said not required as we take our own scans. Then after 30 min in our turn we went to the doctor. She just checked thru the machine, asked for diabetes question that since how many years she has diabetes n what’s the sugar level( which we told).
So that was the only question she asked & said she has cataract n needs operation. So we can decide n proceed with the operation.
We were surprised that nothing was explained, no other questions were asked n what’s the level or condition of her eyes or so nothing…
Then I told her as this is our third opinion. ******** ******* ** ********* ****** ******** ** ***** ****** *** **** ***** ** ******** ** ***** ******** ***** ** ** ******** It was then she actually reacted and we showed her the scans. She saw and then said “o yes swelling is there. Okay you meet dr Purnima tomo as she is retina specialist”.
I asked her again as why she suggested operation without checking properly, to which she said “we do this scan before the operation, u meet my assistant outside, take his number n book an appointment for tomo and then we will see”.
We were so surprised ** *** **** *********** ********** ********** I again asked that assistant, ** ** *** *** ****** ***** ********* She didn’t even tell us about the swelling n all? To which he was unable to answer n said, “I don’t know what mam says, it’s her diagnosis”. Twice thrice I asked him what kind of ********** diagnosis is this?? But he was confused n didn’t say much! We actually thank our stars that we went somewhere else **** *** ********* ** ***** ** ***** ** ******* *** ***** ******* *****
So our question here is,
1) this is what we expect from senior n expert doctors??
2) after paying 1280₹ don’t we deserve at least 12 minutes of the doctor?
3) it isn’t the doctors responsibility to explain the condition to the patient??
4) though it was our third opinion, but otherwise it wasn’t doctor’s duty to explain us the exact stage, level, lens, what cataract lenses are there, n everything about it?
All the hype for which we went there with so much hope , was all in vain after consulting her.
It was indeed an extremely bad experience for us. Always show some respect to the patients time, money and try to educate your patients as they’re not doctors..

Visited Dr. Shuchi Singla (Dermatologist) For Acne / Pimples Treatment
Dr Singla did not spend any time trying to get background/history on my issue. She had a list of standard causes (high fat/carb diet, sweat etc.), which can be Googled and does not require a medical professional. None of those causes applied in my case. Which is why I was worried as well. I never the less kept interrupting and correcting her. Most doctors I've been to usually write down the symptoms on paper before making a diagnosis. This usually goes into the patient file. Dr Singla dished out a prescription instead. There is no record of any history or symptoms I shared with the doctor anywhere. I had read the reviews of before booking an appointment. I now realize that the ones that were responded to were those who had visited the Dr Singlas clinic and not Max hospital. I am going to see another doctor who can give me 10 mins of their time and a patient listening. The recommended medication may still be the same but atleast Id be satisfied that I wasn't given a cookie cutter prescription. Isn't that what doctors do?

My wife was admitted to MAX Guragon for her surgery and our gyanecologist consultant doctor is Dr. Manisha Arora. We are already seeing the doctor from last 2-3 months, I found the doctor quite amiable, humble and she has an aura of positive vibes surrounder by her which gives the patient confidence that you are at right place and no need to seek anything further. While going through her OT she was quite terrfied as she was going through operation first time, the doctor herself hold her hand and make her calm. One of the best things about Dr. Manisha Arora is she always listen to the problem and gauge the situation and come up with great solutions which makes the patient and doctor to align on the same page. The support staff i.e. Nurses (Neetu, Lincy Joseph) and Doctor (Ranjana) were quite approachable, and available all times which made after opeartion activities quite seamless and without any hassle. Due to COVID all the safety measures were followed strictly. In the end, huge shoutout to Tripti (Dr Manisha Arora coordinator) she made all the TPA process and all the tests arrangement quite smooth and she was approachable for even of the tineist or dumbeest queries and never look agitated. A great experience and i would highly recommended Dr. Manish Arora for any gyanecologist related treatment as she is filled with faith and conviction.
Visited Dr. Rohit Jain (Plastic Surgeon)
Note: This doctor is no longer practicing at Max Hospital
Let me share my experience with Dr. Jain for the crush injury of index finger in our family. Medeor Being nearest hospital from our home, we reached immediately, and met Dr. Jain and his team. Looking at the injury & pain, it was a trauma, we immediately wanted to get the relief from pain and secondaliy wanted to know what will happen to the crushed part. Here Dr. Jain has handled us very well by giving all the next steps he is going to take with us. He was proactively coming back to us time to time before we become impatient. we were knowing every happening inside. At least from facilitator side, we were much relaxed and confident.
I want to mention here that Doctor Jain gave us 100% correct picture of the case and progress including risk portion.
Next weeks were more important because Doctor has done his part of procedure and further has to monitor and suggest us on next course of action which was very good.
Towards the treatment, I can say fortunately, we found Doctor Jain during this tough time and gave us all his precious time on advising. Not only on the treatment, he treated us like a family member and morally supported beyond his duties. He is very nice in nature, attitude, advises and interactions. I must say you can visit any doctor in town but for sure you will not be disappointed if you meet Dr. Jain.
Thank you Dr for your experience, efforts, your time and moral support for us.

Hello friends sharing a personal experience as it might be of help for some- Some time back applicable from 1 July took Health policy through Mr. *Aman Lakhina (House no -1176 Manipal Cigna* . I was hail and hearty. Got company health check up coupons a month later and got myself tested. Here I was informed that I had a gall bladder stone. Didn't believe got tested again at Paras Hospital and got confirmation of same. Took about a month before finalising about surgery as would have preferred alternate treatment but as advised surgery was the only option. First preference was Paras..which turned out to be unnecessarily over priced also was not too happy with the doctor there. Went to Max hospital there was difference of straight away 50k and thanks to *Dr.* *Vidur Jyoti* I was filled with confidence and as promised by him I walked in comfortably and walked out comfortably from the hospital. He is *really very good doctor thanks to him. And want to specially appreciate Mr. *Aman Lakhina*who guided* us through the process ...since we had just ported policy were little worried about claim settlement. He made sure everything went smoothly. So thanks to him too. I would strongly recommend Dr. vidur Jyoti for treatment *** *** **** ******* ******* ***************** ****** ********* .
