Visited Dr. Dhananjay Kumar Jhamb (Cardiologist)
The following is my mother's experience with this doctor. Thanks to this doctor, my mother got fractures and a stroke. She cannot review directly, so asked me to post her experience.
I was recommended by my family doctor to visit Dr Jhamb HOD Cardiology in Sanar Hospital Gurgaon as I had a racing pulse for three continuous days.
You know what they say that a doctors fall from Hero to Zero can be very swift, well unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience when I visited Dr Jhamb …. a doctor with impeccable credentials. My experience has been really upsetting!
Since I had been having fluctuation s in my BP for the last few weeks I was told to maintain a record of my BP and pulse for 10 days by my family doctor thrice a day. I did this meticulously. On the 8,9 and 10 day I noticed that my pulse reading was between 126-131. When I apprised my family doctor of this he told me to immediately go to the cardiologist in Sanar.
I met the doctor and told him my problem.
He barely looked at the meticulous record of my BP and pulse I had maintained. No mention was made iof my high pulse rate for the last 3 days.
Immediately I was told I needed an Echo and TMT
I told the doctor I didn’t have proper shoes for the TMT but he brushed it aside and said the TMT team would handle it.
I also told him I’m entitled to ECHS facilities in Paras so I could go there as it would be free for me there. He responded by saying we’ll give you ECHS rates here and immediately called a nurse and told her to give me the Health Package.
I was taken and charged Rs 4,100 for the package! So much for charging me ECHS rates!
Then I was made to walk barefoot on the treadmill!
Result…. I fractured my 1,2 and 3 rd metatarsal and now have a cast on my foot for 6 weeks! Thank you Dr Jhamb!
There is worse to come! ** ****** ******* * ****** ***** **** ****** ** ** ************** ***************** I had a stroke early the next morning but fortunately my neighbors and cousin managed to bring me to Manipal Hospital in Palam Vihar in time and the Neurologist here, ** ******* ******* ** ******** *** **** ** ***** I have been in the hospital under observation for 9 days now!
So a very costly visit to Sanar and their HOD Cardiology
A fractured foot and
A stroke!
A glitzy interior is not what makes a good hospital! Not do impressive degrees!
I am 75 years old, living alone and things could have gone either way for me!
I got lucky with my choice of hospital and doctor ** ******* ********* Moreover my son living in LA had to drop everything to be with me!
I have stated the facts and now I leave you the reader and management of Sanar hospital as well as the Cardiologist there to be the judge and the jury!
Future patients please exercise the greatest care and research well to avoid a similar situation.
I would rate the hospital

Visited Dr. Dhananjay Kumar Jhamb (Cardiologist)
I Shyam Aggarwal and my wife Anita Aggarwal had been in Dr Jhamb's treatment for over 6 yrs till the time he was posted at Paras Hospital. Incidentally I may add here that we are covered under CGHS and therefore the payment made to Paras Hospital by the Govt on our treatment was bare minimum, what I wish to say that neither the hospital nor Dr could make a asami out of us. However I emphasise on the fact that we are today, are alive because of Dr Jhamb and his treatment. He is among the most dedicated Doctors. who gave maximum time to listen to our health conditions. He never ever showed adamency on prescription of particulr medicine which somehow did'nt suit us and immediately replaced it with an alternative.
Nodoubt he is not a big talker or an cinema actor type smile but competency level is unparallal. I would repeatdly recommend Dr Jhamb.
Regards
Shyam Aggarwal
Visited Dr. Bandana (Pulmonologist)
went to Danar with bronchitis and a laundry list of problems.. turned out to be pancytopenia, severe anemia and typhoid. She is one doc who did not give give up on me.... warm friendly and definitely connects with her patients. Highly recommend Dr Bandana.
Visited Dr. Rohit Lamba (Orthopedic surgeon) For Knee Replacement
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
My Father was suffering from severe knee pain for the last 2 year which was making it very difficult for my father to do my day to day activities without taking pain killers. Finally we consulted with Dr Rohit Lamba for my knee pain and it was the best decision I had taken and bilateral knee replacement done and Dr Rohit and his entire team made this a very easy, hassle free and painless experience . I'm very confident about my father recovery thanks to Dr and his team.
