I am from kadapa district. I had a strange problem. Suddenly 3years ago, I started seeing some lights along with headache. Afterwards I had memory problem. I showed to many doctors, head scan done 4times, eeg also done, blood tests and treatment but no cure. I showed to Kim's, yashoda doctors by no relief. They said go to psychiatrist. Then I consulted Dr. Naresh Vadlamani. He went through my medical records thoroughly, asked several questions and examined me. He also spoke to my son and husband. He then diagnosed correctly saying it is a type of fits. He started treatment with medications. After 3months of treatment, all my problems was gone. Now for past 6months, I am cured, I am able to do my work, cooking, going out to shop alone. Thanks to Dr. Naresh. All other doctors told me not to do any work. I was depressed also. I also gone to mantras and poojas but no use. I also sent my relatives to Dr. Naresh for fits problem but he said Neurologist treat them better. But if no relief , I will ask them to go to Dr. Naresh for advice and treatment. He is very good doctor.
Visited For Irritable Bowel Syndrome
I was feeling very low depressed, my interest in teaching decreased, I was feeling miserable and on top of it my bowel habit was very irregular. I was taking several medications but was completely unwell all the time. Though doctors were telling me to see a psychiatrist, due to some fear and embarrassment I didn't go. Then my colleague suggested me to go to Dr. Naresh Vadlamani at Columbus Hospital. After consulting Dr. Naresh, all my fears about a psychiatrist vanished. He listened to all my problems, reviewed all my past medical reports including endoscopes, examined me and diagnosed my problem. After his treatment for the past 2months, for the first time in my life I felt very confident. Psychiatrists are doctors who treat both mind and physical illness. Dr. Naresh said, psychiatrists don't do voodoo, or trance or hyno treatment. They treat illnesses according to internationally followed treatment guidelines as prescribed in medical literature. Thank you Dr. Naresh. I amback to my college and teaching profession and I myself am seeing anxiety and depression in my students and referring them to psychiatrists.
I have been to several gastroenterologists, undergone endoscopies several times, took various treatments for my irritable bowel syndrome-IBS. But no relief. I was afraid to go out to work, faced several embarrasing situations, restricted my job with decreased salary. My wife and children were also affected. I couldn't take them out anywhere. Travel in buses, trains was rare. Then one of my friends suggested Dr. Naresh Vadlamani, a psychiatrist. I initially was reluctant because, I thought what a psychiatrist had to do with bowels. After meeting Dr. Naresh, he explained that even in medical books I BS is a nerve functional disorder to be treated with psychiatric medicines. He started the treatment. Within 2weeks, I started feeling better. After one month my frequency of bowel movements decreased. Now after 3months of treatment, my whole life has changed for the better. I am able to travel, go out without fear of embarrassment, am attending social functions, taking my family out. Thank you Dr. Naresh for really changing my life.

I went to get treatment for depression. I relocated to hyderabad from bangalore and was quite upset with my job. On my first visit he showed me a video from AIB in youtube regarding depression. He said that depression is also an illness like any other illness. *** ******** ****** **** ******Although medicine will help but after that we need to change our activities as well like doing exercise regularly , meditation etc. Shouldn't depend only on medicine.
I was feeling better in one week. It has been around 3.5 months and I am still taking medicine although I am 100% normal. The medicine needs to be continued for 6 months.
A big thanks to the doctor.

I would not recommend him. I consulted him twice. Exactly 16 months ago then after few months. I was really in a horrible situation when i first met him. I thought that i might forget some points, so that i wrote everything on paper and showed him. He took just 10 seconds and confirmed that i was in depression. Then doctor started telling symptoms and giving advises on that.
He did not listen to me and at least 2 to 3 minutes *** *** ** **** ** * ********** **** * ** ********* **** *********** ***** ***** ** **** **************** ******* ** **** ****** Later on i tried to explain that i am suffering from problems. But he made up his mind that i am suffering from depression.

I was not happy for the first consultation but i reviewed myself , my problems and Reminded everything in life. ******* * ********* *** i had fear, inferior, anxiety. It is there from the age of 5.
No these are different and depression is different.
after few months i once again showed trust on him and went for consultation. This time disappointed more. Not even few minutes. Once again confirmed that depression and showed the example of deepika padukone story.
Then advised for counselling therapy.
My conclusion that i do not recommend and he was not to my expectation. I cant express my feelings.
My suggestion is that he is psychiatrist not a orthopedic or some one.
I come for to get treated for behavioral problem. He would have pushed me open up. Then he might have said few words which could rejunivate energy in me. i went to him second time because i expected something new from . but same scene as disappointed.

Rude Treatment and behavior towards patients.I went into his cabin for consultation, and asked for 10-15 minutes, time. Instantly, he replied, "I will give only 10 minutes time, and 5 minutes for me to speak to you. After 15 minutes you both will be out of my cabin."(my mother also accompanied me)
After listening to my problem, he started writing few tablets. I ask him very politely"Sir, are you prescribing tablets to me ?" Instantly,he replied" I am prescribing tablets, if you don't want, I will not prescribe." Such arrogant was his behavior towards me.
He prescribed blood tests which costed me INR 3000.00. He asked me to come after 10 days.
After 10 days, I visited him and told him that I have completed my 10 days course. I told him, there is no change in problem even after using medication for 10 days but I am feeling dizzy. He said" you cannot feel dizzy , you will feel sleepy".
He himself is telling my symptoms.
He asked if I got the blood test done. I said, "Yes."
He asked me if there is any abnormality,in the Blood Report.I did not know what to reply, I am a non medico person(I am mechanical engineer, he knows that). How will,I know the medical terms, in the report.
Again, he wrote the same tablets for 20 days.
I did not find any friendliness or politeness in his behavior. He was very rude.
Please avoid him. After taking INR 600.00, he does not give sufficient time to speak out our problems.
I am a mechanical engineer in Oil/ Gas / Petrochemical industry, with 13 years of experience in countries like UAE,Saudi Arabia ,Qatar, India.

I've been to therapy before, but years and years ago when I was first diagnosed. I was very skeptical about visiting a Doctor but my depression was getting unmanageable and the tools I have were not working out anymore (walking, exercise, eating right, talking to people) and the stresses in my life increased and the support I had was not there. So I decided to seek medical help. I researched online and thanks to the reviews here, I decided to go with one of two doctors and this was the doctor I got the fastest appointment with so I went.
Good things first: The staff was friendly. The Doctor explained the issue (which I knew but it's good to hear from him) and spoke about why medication is important for me at this juncture. He answered my questions.
Why I won't go back: In the middle of my session, that's right, in the middle of my session, he thought it okay to take a 20+ minute phone call. Not with a patient or anything, which I would have understood. For someone who is already down, this simply doesn't fly. I felt like precious time from my session was wasted and I lost the thread of what I was saying. IN THE MIDDLE OF ME OPENING UP TO A STRANGER AND TRUSTING SOMEONE WITH MY LIFE, the man takes a long phone call. Nope. Sorry. Maybe this works for some people, but in the position I'm in, this made me really feel invisible.
The other issue also was that he argued with me about my life. So for instance if I said let's say person x in my life is not supportive, he argued and said no you're wrong, they are supportive, you don't see it. Listen, this is my life, you know nothing about it, for now, why don't you take my word for it??
So this is purely my experience. I know someone who's been going to him for years and likes this doctor. My personal experience, especially after I left, I felt somehow like this wasn't what I expected or wanted. He seems like a good doctor and a professional, its just that this one time, with this one patient (me) things didn't work. Maybe it's me. Either ways, not going back. Looking for another doctor though.
I was in a severly low mental position when I met Dr Naresh Vadlamani sir. He gave me medication which instantly provided me relief. Many symptoms of withdrawal: insomnia, hallucination, anxiety, depression, fear etc were brought down in intensity. Now I am going through medication for full recovery from the painful state.
I have been depressed for a long time. I felt like I had my life back while going through Dr's medication course. I thank him wholeheartedly for that.
Dr Naresh Vadlamani sir is special because he listens well to patient's complaints and gives minimal yet effective medication. He is highly experienced, ************* *** **** * ***** ** ** ****** ***** ** *** ******* ************ ** *********** He also counsels well. He gave me a direction for recovery in the early treatment phase.
I have been to few psychiatrists *** * **** ** ****** ********* *** ** ** *** ***** ***** I suggest anyone with mental illness to meet Dr Naresh Vadlamani sir.

Dr Naresh is good Dr. However, he is now overcharging to patients. Initially when he was at I care Hospital he charge 200 INR, then he opened hospital (Columbus Hospital) initial fee was 500INR per visit (week days and weekends) and 500INR (9-6 pm Monday to Friday), now 800INR per visit (weekends) that too zero re-visit included in this fee. I mean if you go next day, they will charge you again 800INR. When I asked why this much fee junior dr. said Sat-Sunday is public holiday, that's why charging this much.
Just for sake he kept 8 to 9 am visit, 300INR. Well chosen time as nobody can come on this time.
So it seems that now he is doing business now rather than curing patients. Even in Hyderabad topmost Dr. are not charging this much fee.
I request from Dr, please charge which is ethical
Dr Naresh Vadlamani is a very honest and knowledgeable person. When I went to him the first time he was very open and very gently asked me questions. I did not even feel like I was talking to a new person. He was friendly and not at all greedy for money. He diagnosed my condition promptly and did not waste my time. He also recommended me to a different doctor when he thought he couldnt help me anymore. He is a great doctor. Because of him, my condition which I was suffering with from the last eight to nine years was cured completely and I could start living my life again without any self doubt. He made me feel complete once again. I strongly recommend speaking to him atleast once and find out for yourself. He is a very good person and doctor.
