Words fall short to describe about the experience at Lakshmi Hospital. My mother underwent a spine surgery few months back, after few weeks, she could not walk properly and her left leg was not moving. We were confused and met multiple Neuro physicians, Neuro surgeons , Physiotherapists etc. Then finally we came to Lakshmi Hospital and met DR Sri Ram Chandra. After a long time I have seen a Doctor who smiles at his patient on the first visit and gives good time listening to the problems. Dr has given my mother lots of confidence which lacked in other hospitals I have visited. I understood, my mother could not move her leg only because of the demotivation given by the earlier doctors. But all thanks to Dr Sri Ram medication my mom was able to move her leg and walk slowly in one week.
Next we met Dr Pamela Narayan in the same hospital, who was taking care of Physio. * ***** *** **** ******* *** *** *** **** ********* ***** ************* ** ********** She has treated my mother so well with a humble smile. I(78 year old) along with my wife(72 years old) have visited Dr Pamela Narayan for multiple musculoskeletal issues faced by both of us. Dr Pamela has amazing knowledge of muscular, skeletal and neurological makeup of human body and their interplay. She has patiently heard our medical history and suggested very effective physiotherapy. The Physiotherapy given by her assistants, lead by Mr Jayanth, has yielded excellent improvements. I have also seen in Dr Pamela treating very complicated cases of patients of various ages ranging from babies to very old persons. I recommend her name to anybody who is facing any difficult muscular, skeletal and neurological issues.

** ****** ******* ** ** ********* ****** *** **************** I had persistent pain through my right arm, from my shoulder to my hand, for which I set up a consultation with her. We were in lockdown due to Covid, so all our consultations happened over video calls. I’ve highlighted the many positives that stood out for me through the process below.
Clear Diagnosis:
As we were consulting over video during lockdown, without easy access to scans and X-rays, Dr Pamela asked me detailed questions about the pain. She assessed my symptoms and diagnosed them as repetitive stress injuries.
Clear Communication of Recovery Process:
Dr Pamela helped me understand that the complexity of the injury would mean a long recovery time. She instructed me not to type on my laptop or phone immediately, and she told me that it might take 1-2 months to begin doing so again, and we would have to monitor recovery very closely in this period. She was absolutely right.
Workarounds For The Lockdown Situation:
Since I couldn’t go in for physiotherapy thanks to the lockdown, Dr Pamela devised a recovery plan that would rely entirely on resting my injured hand, and doing exercises at home.
Clear Explanation of Exercises:
Over multiple consultations, we progressed from simple exercises and stretches to more complex ones to address the issues with my arm. These exercises started as free exercises, and later included exercises with weights.
Dr. Pamela and her team clearly explained and demonstrated each exercise and stretch over video. They asked me to repeat them to assess my form, and offered corrections when required. I had no trouble following these instructions.
Medication Only When Necessary:
Dr. Pamela prescribed medication only when absolutely necessary—for example, she put me on an immediate course to ease the pain and relax my cramped muscles, but then recommended that I use painkillers only as an SOS.
Long-Term Assessment With Follow-Ups:
I’ve followed Dr. Pamela’s instructions entirely over the last few months, with multiple follow-ups to monitor progress. It’s a long recovery process, as with any complex injury, but her guidance has led to solid progress with each consultation.
Past Experiences Have Led To Full Recovery:
Additionally, I’ve consulted with Dr. Pamela in the past with various injuries. A few years ago she helped me recover completely from a bad ligament injury in my right ankle. I’ve had have no problems with my right foot since.

Me being 36 years old and overweight, went to the doctor with pain in the tailbone while sitting and back pain in general while standing. I really appreciate the diagnosis and medication along with physiotherapy as it reduced the pain in just 3 - 4 sessions. I continued with another couple sessions and it helped me with muscle strengthening. I can feel the difference. Thank you Dr Pamela and team for handling the case with utmost care. Definitely going to recommend to anyone in need. Thanks!

When I first met her, my condition was not having proper stability in lower limbs due to earlier Sodium shortage. Doctor made necessary check ups and prescribed medications and procedures for physiotherapy. I have undergone 20 sessions and completely recovered and now able to have steady lower limbs. I am continuing physiotherapy to maintain steady health. I recommend to others
Visited For Knee Pain Physiotherapy
Only Physiotherapy centre where I have seen the patient being treated theoretically and pragmatically. The identification of the problems are excellent and are pinpointed to the exact source of the problem. Particularly, in my case, I had problem in both the knees. Before the surgery, Doctor asked me to come for a pre treatment, My first leg was very bad, the muscle tone was very poor due to that my improvement took about 50 days. I underwent treatment for 6 sessions, then I passed through the surgery. After the surgery I immediately resumed Physiotherapy, the leg movement was monitored continuously and with absolute no pain, the leg stretches were done. Though I have heard that post surgery physio is painful my experience here says it is the most pleasant one. I haven't felt any pain but had very great pleasure in my improvement. As per the doctor's suggestion I underwent the second knee surgery after 1 and a half years. Followed the same routine, Pre treatment physio, surgery and post treatment physio. The improvement for the second knee was much much faster.
I have recommended Dr. Pamela to alot of people.
