He will listen to all your queries and will give you hope and confidence with a smile on his face. My wife suffered from pyronephrosis due to kidney stone and had immense pain and fever. Doctor very proactively suggested for stenting and explained us all possible future plan of actions, once infection was down. Finally once infection was down, he did RIRS and my wife has recovered well now.

In one word I can say about Bastab Ghosh is “Life Saver”. In September,2024 a tumour has been detected in my mother’ right kidney through a whole abdomen CT scan. My family doctor asked me to appoint a good Urological surgeon for further treatment. I came to Pratco site and searched for top Urological Oncologist surgeons in Kolkata and I found couple of names over here. After reviewing the Triphasic CT report Bastab Sir has informed me that he will not remove the right Kidney completely rather he will perform the surgery called “Partial Nephrectomy” which sounds good to me. The main thing which I like most is he assured that he will save my mother’s right kidney as much as he can so that the good portion could be functional as it is and the load will be distributed between the both left and right kidney (remaining portion) as it was earlier.

I recently underwent a nephroureterectomy as I was having gross hydronephrosis in the right kidney. My experience with Dr. Bastab Ghosh was nothing short of exceptional.
