I was suffering from stomach issues from past 1 month. Showed my general physician and took 2-3 courses of medicines but nothing seemed to work. I was unable to digest anything. I had diarrhoea for more than 4 months since I arrived back in India. Although I have had a history of IBS, none of the previously used medicines worked this time. Dr Basu systematically introduced me to other medicines and finally I am back to normal after a prolonged episode of diarrhoea. I have even stopped taking medicines. My Mother had severe gas issues leading to chest discomfort . she had chronic constipation also. She wasn't able to eat anything due to this. Dr Basu gave medicines and assured she will be able to eat normal and be healthy soon. Real bad experience at AMRI. I went for UGI Endoscopy. I was asked to reach by 10:30 am. Doctor came around 12 pm. Even after being late, instead of starting the procedure he started seeing patients. I was in fasting for 5 hrs. Being diabetic, I started having hypoglycemic symptoms, had no other choice but to return. Such procedures should be started much early. Found this insensitive towards patient's limitations.
