I visited doctor to treat my mother for Nasopharyngeal problem. He is a very competent doctor who treated my mother with care and explained every steps and proceeded with proper consent. He was very outspoken, but all his suggestions at the right time helped my mother to come out of very critical situations.

He was the one who figured out the root cause of the gland swelling which other doctors couldn't in the past.

Hence, I am grateful to have visited the doctor at the right and now my mother is doing well. Although she is suffering from Lymphoma and because of the doctor, the diagnosis happened very fast for the treatment to start.

Dr. Soumyarup Das sir is an excellent ENT surgeon. He is soft spoken, considerate, transparent, takes time to listen to you patiently and then explains everything in detail. I was satisfied with his treatment. He is a good Doctor. However, I was not happy that my Doctor sister who was visiting me during my hospitalization had to wait for 4-5 hours everyday (3 days). My suggestion is that, being in the same doctor fraternity the waiting time for her could have been reduced.

I stay in Sweden and came to Kolkata at my home for some other work, but I thought let me get it checked before I return because it was bothering me from long time now. In Sweden as the temperature is very low and It was getting difficult in my day-by-day life.

I visited another ENT specialist and got by CT Scan done for my nose. But I did not got the seriousness of it till that time. Than I got referred to Doctor Soumayarup Deb by another Cardialogist who also actually helped me to find out the solution.

When Doctor Soumayarup Das has done the endoscopy, it was very clear to me that there is a risk, there is a mere a little small passage inside my one nostril where air can pass due to multiple polyp. In another nostril it was septum and another polyps which also created a lot of problems. Doctor suggested me to do the surgery because it is the only solution.

I had a time constraints as I have to fly back to Sweden, so I took immediate decision to get it operated. Doctor helped me like anything, he has taken out his time from busy schedule and put his lot of effort to help me out. He personally ensured that I should not suffer a lot for this and helped me to get out of it.
