Vartika came highly recommended from a friend of mine who had seen her briefly for anxiety-related issues. I was dealing with various mental health issues at the time, including depression, anxiety and trauma. Over the course of our first few sessions, Vartika listened to my problems with a great deal of patience and kindness, occasionally asking questions only to clarify certain points and to get a better understanding of my issues. She made me feel comfortable and gained my confidence through her extraordinary ability to listen without judgement, and her overall empathetic and methodical approach. My positive impression of her has only been reinforced since then, and I trust her completely with my problems.
She took a very systematic approach towards trying to get to the root of my multifaceted problem using a range of methods including various psychological assessments. She was highly perceptive of my own academic background and understood my need for detailed explanations and propensity to ask a lot of questions. She explained various ideas and concepts in psychology relevant to my situation with great clarity and interest. I believe this was reflective ** *** ********* ********* ** *** ****** She walked me through the different therapy options and provided credible explanations for why she thought a particular therapy would work in my case. At the same time, she treated my own observations with respect and seriousness, and provided reasons for why she agreed or disagreed. I found her to be honest, authentic and someone who genuinely cared for me. I am positive that her approach towards each client would similarly be shaped by her astute understanding of her client’s background and needs.
Her approach towards our sessions was logical and practical. In the initial stages, she spent more time on diagnosis and in trying to develop a holistic understanding of my multifaceted problem. Once we had developed a reasonable understanding, the focus was more on the practical steps to be taken on a daily and weekly basis to help me deal with the issues. However, she always started her sessions with emphasis on my current mental state and prioritized dealing with the immediate problems first. Thanks to her, I have made tangible progress over the months. Yes, it has been time consuming but dealing with mental health issues often is, because we often don’t understand what exactly the issues are, and when we do, it takes time for some of us to take the necessary steps, often with a lot of trial and error, to get better. This is not like taking a pill and finding a cure. With Vartika’s help, I feel like I am on a path towards leading a more fulfilling life.
To sum it up, I find Vartika to be a highly professional, ************** empathetic and competent therapist and would highly recommend her to anyone who is dealing with mental health related issues.
From the outset, my experience with Vartika has been satisfying. This is the first time I sought therapy and embarked on a journey of self awareness and overcoming depression, and there are countless ways in which Vartika has facilitated and supported me in this journey. First and foremost, I was made aware of the clinical symptoms and made to develop an in-depth understanding of how depression hijacks the cognitive system. This helped me immensely in viewing my mental condition 'without judgement' as one would for any unconcealed physical injury, like a fractured bone. Post this understanding, my therapist provided me with adequate tools to combat the state. We sat together and identified my cognitive distortions and worked on them one-by-one together. It's crucial to mention here that I was also made to understand the significance of patience in this journey and constantly made to believe that I can better my life. She promotes 'thriving' instead of merely coping. What readers/mental health warriors can find useful here is that my therapist leaves ample room for flexibility in topics of discussions, is empathetic, does a good job at understanding and interpreting my verbal outpourings. What personally works best for me, perhaps because I am a scientist myself, is that she incorporates into our discussions, the current research topics and technical terms from psychology(with adequate explanations) which relevantly apply to the thoughts/situations I mention. This not only helps me assess that she interpreted me correctly, but also helps me associate the thought/incident to a specific topic which in turn facilitates me to gain additional knowledge and understanding on it, on my own. I truly feel the freedom to bring anything on the table and we then try relevant tools/techniques to come to a viable solution. This is a fairly long review and I have consciously chosen to dive deep instead of giving simplistic qualifiers like 'good communication skills', which obviously still apply. I have been consulting Ms. Vartika, week over week since past two and a half years and due to her constant help and guidance I have been able to bring a lot of stability in my life gradually.
Due to a chronic illness, I found myself slipping into unhappy zone constantly and slowly was losing all agency (control) over my life. Through weekly sessions with Ms. Vartika, I have been able to understand myself better and have learnt to appreaciate all of my parts. She has always been super patient and listening with an eager ear - even if sometimes I have found myself repeating the same loop of concerns.
Additionally, Ms. Vartika allowed me to create and use the therapy space in the manner of my liking which helped me eventually find agency in my life outside of therapy too. She has also taught me how healing process has it's own ups and down and innovatively led the session with different approaches - IFS, Meditations etc

Therapy sessions with Vartika have helped me immensely. Not only she is really attentive to whatever i am saying, she is also expressive which means that whatever she wants to convey through words to me is also visible on her face, which makes me trust her as a therapist even more. It’s been about a year that i have been in therapy with her and i am able to see so much progress in myself and i am beginning to appreciate myself more, which is all thanks to her. In general, having her as a therapist for anyone would guarantee you empathy, patience. You will feel like she is really listening to you and care about whatever you are saying, she will always be open to feedback and will often ask you if her methods are working for you. Therapy with Dr Vartika has been so wonderfully healing. She makes sure to make you feel as comfortable and respected as possible. Having had previous experiences with therapists not suited to me, I went into therapy with her with very little expectations, but she exceeded all of them. Her empathy and deep regard for the space she provides me with and the astuteness to her, makes the entire process so much easier. There have been multiple occasions on which she has provided me with a space which was so cathartic that i’ve started crying. Can’t be more thankful to her.

As a therapist, Vartika is a brilliant listener. I have never seen her miss a point or not focus during our sessions. She's always present and very responsive. I really appreciate how she balances a scientific approach with a warm attitude. I don't remember having any "bad" or "boring" sessions with her as each of her sessions are quite intensive. Personally, I enjoy working on the CBT exercises she gives in the gap between the sessions. I think they help me to be more hands-on in my healing. Having said that, she is someone who will always let you choose your road to healing without influencing your judgement in anyway. :)
My experience with Vartika was extremely fulfilling. I was apprehensive about therapy because speaking to a stranger about my problems did not seem appealing to me. However, Vartika gave me the free space that I desperately needed. She created such a warm and comfortable environment that I didn't feel judged for a moment. She gives you her undivided attention and actively listens to every word you say. She is very perceptive and patient. She gives you the time to process your thoughts and for you to make sense of them. She provides this unconditional support and as a client, I knew I could count on her. She helped me understand my issues and how they were affecting my actions everyday. She made me understand that even though I was coping with my issues satisfactorily, there was still room for me to grow further. At the same time, she made me understand where my coping style was falling short and what I could alternatively do. I felt like she really valued me and my time, and helped me make the most of it during our session. Needless to say, Vartika is a talented therapist, who really knows what she is doing in a session. I started seeing Vartika when I was going through great personal crisis and loss. She helped me get through the toughest phase of my life and identify problems within my own behaviour that was making life more difficult than it had to be. It's a work in progress, but I wanted to let anyone who's looking for help know that you can trust her. She listens, like really listens; is gentle, compassionate, accomodating, and helps develop long-term coping mechanism against whatever you are dealing with. She's been working with me on family issues, low confidence, PTSD, grieving, and other personal crises. I can vouch for her skills in at least those areas.

Vartika has been brilliant with me.
I came to her completely broken, overwhelmed with my life and relationships. I broke down often during the sessions, because I felt it was safe to do so.
She really listened and perhaps it was obvious to her what I needed to do to fix my life but she never told me to do this or do that. She gave me space to figure things out for myself. She gave me tools and the confidence to deal with my circumstances and really I feel empowered to make healthy choices and stick by them.
She is compassionate and a great listener. From the very first session I opened up to her even though I had never spoken to her before. I needed help and she gave it to me in the best way possible. I cannot recommend her enough.

Ms. Vartika has been very comforting and understanding. I am going to continue taking therapy sessions with her because I can see changes in a few sessions itself. She moulds the therapy session according to the patient's needs and that has been very helpful for me. It has also been very easy for me to open up with her. She has some great activities and tools to make you understand the issue and go forward with it in a systematic manner and a flow which makes sense.
