ContainsAmoxycillin (500 mg) + Clavulanic Acid (125 mg)
Description
ADVENT 625MG TABLET is a combination of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections that affect the ears, lungs, nose, urinary tract, skin, bones, etc. This medication is effective only for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and not viruses. ADVENT 625MG TABLET is effective against a large number of bacteria. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell walls and killing the infection-causing bacteria. Clavulanic acid prevents bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin and ensures extended anti-bacterial activity. ADVENT 625MG TABLET may cause some less common side effects such as skin rash, headache, dizziness, skin rash/itching, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. ADVENT 625MG TABLET should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. You will start to feel better in a few days. However, continue taking the medicine for the prescribed duration. Skipping doses or not completing the full course of therapy may result in decreased effectiveness of the medicine or increased risk of re-infection that would be difficult to treat in the future. ADVENT 625MG TABLET is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have any kidney/liver problems before starting treatment with this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding if this medicine has been prescribed to you.
