Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with Amlovas L (5/5 mg) Tablet. Avoid any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating machines if you consume alcohol during treatment with this medicine.

Disease interactions
Amlovas L (5/5 mg) Tablet is not recommended for use if you have angioedema (swelling of the area under the skin) or a family history of angioedema as it can lead to severe side effects. Report any incidence of swelling of the face, lips, and eyes to the doctor on priority. Your doctor may choose a safer alternative depending on your clinical condition.
Amlovas L (5/5 mg) Tablet is not recommended for use in case of cardiogenic shock (a life-threatening situation in which your heart suddenly stops pumping enough blood to the body) since it may worsen your condition.
Food interactions
Consumption of grapefruit juice is not recommended during treatment with Amlovas L (5/5 mg) Tablet as grapefruit juice can increase the level of absorption of this medicine in your blood. This could lead to excessive lowering of blood pressure or worsening of the side effects.
Avoid taking potassium containing food with Amlovas L (5/5 mg) Tablet as it may increase the potassium levels in your blood. Avoid potassium supplements while taking this medicine unless prescribed by your doctor.
