Description

Cadi O 50 MG Suspension is an antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections affecting your lungs, skin, and urinary tract (the kidneys, bladder, etc). It works by stopping the growth of bacteria that causes infection. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension can cause side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or become worse. Avoid activities that require mental focus like driving vehicles and operating machines as this medicine may cause dizziness. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension can be taken with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medicine at the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Complete the whole course of treatment for maximum benefit and to prevent the risk of re-infection. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Avoid taking this medicine if you have tendinitis (a condition that causes swelling of the tissues that attach bones with muscles) or myasthenia gravis (a condition that causes severe weakness of the muscles under voluntary control). Cadi O 50 MG Suspension should be used with caution if you have liver or kidney problems. Urinary Tract Infection

An infection in any part of your urinary system- the kidneys, bladder, ureters (small tubes that carry urine from kidney to urinary bladder), or urethra (the tube through which urine leaves your body) is called urinary tract infection (UTIs). UTIs are caused by bacteria and in some cases, viruses or fungi. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension is used to treat urinary tract infections caused by bacteria.

Pyelonephritis

Pyelonephritis is the swelling of the kidneys due to bacterial infection. This infection starts in your urethra or bladder and spreads through the ureters to the kidneys. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension is used to treat pyelonephritis. You will start feeling better within a few days after taking Cadi O 50 MG Suspension.

Cystitis

Cystitis is the swelling of the urinary bladder usually caused by a bacterial infection. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension is used to treat cystitis caused by bacteria.

Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) refers to pneumonia (lung infection) that is acquired in a community setting i.e. outside the hospital. CAP can be bacterial or viral. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension is used to treat CAP caused by bacteria.

Bronchitis

Bronchitis is the swelling and irritation of bronchial tubes that regulates air passage in the lungs. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension is used to treat bronchitis caused by bacteria.

Traveller's diarrhoea

Traveller's diarrhoea is a stomach and intestinal infection that causes loose stools and stomach cramps. Drinking or eating contaminated water or food can lead to this condition. You may pass three or more loose/watery stools in 24 hours. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension is used for the treatment of diarrhoea caused while travelling.

Skin and soft tissue infections

Skin and soft tissue infections occur when bacteria invade your skin and its supporting structures. Cadi O 50 MG Suspension is used to treat all skin infections including abscesses (a painful collection of pus) caused by bacteria.

Finish your entire course of treatment with Cadi O 50 MG Suspension, even if the condition gets better to avoid antibiotic resistance (the bacteria may become resistant to antibiotics). If you still feel unwell after completing your antibiotic course, consult your doctor immediately.

Driving or operating machinery

Cadi O 50 MG Suspension may cause dizziness, sleepiness, or visual disturbances. Hence, avoid performing activities that require mental alertness like driving vehicles or operate machines after taking this medicine.

Photosensitivity

Cadi O 50 MG Suspension may make you more sensitive to sunlight or tanning lights. Use sunscreens or wear protective clothing to avoid adverse reactions before stepping outside.

Diarrhoea

Missed Dose

Do not skip any dose of Cadi O 50 MG Suspension. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose time is near, skip the missed dose and take your next scheduled dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

Overdose
