Hyperadrenocorticism is a condition that occurs due to high levels of cortisol (a chemical substance that helps your body respond to stress, regulate blood sugar, and fight infections) in the body. High doses of Furamist AZ Nasal Spray should be used with caution as it may cause or worsen hyperadrenocorticism, in rare cases.
Furamist AZ Nasal Spray should be used with extreme caution if you have tuberculosis (a lung infection) or other active infections. This medicine can suppress your immune activity and worsen your condition, especially if you are using high doses of this medicine.
Ocular herpes simplex is an eye infection caused by the herpes simplex virus. Furamist AZ Nasal Spray should be used with caution if you have an ocular herpes infection. This medicine can damage the cornea (transparent front part of the eye) and worsen your condition.
Prolonged use of high doses of Furamist AZ Nasal Spray may cause cataracts (a hazy layer that forms in the lens of the eye) or increased fluid pressure inside the eye. Hence it should be used with caution if you have a history of cataracts or glaucoma (an eye condition with abnormally high pressure inside the eye that may lead to vision loss).
Osteoporosis is a condition in which the bones become weak and brittle.Furamist AZ Nasal Spray should be used with caution if you have osteoporosis. Prolonged use of this medicine may cause loss of bone density and further worsen your existing condition.
