Description

Melalite 15 Cream is a combination of Hydroquinone, Octinoxate and Oxybenzone. This is a topical medicine used in the treatment of melasma (a tan or dark skin discolouration). Melasma may occur due to sun exposure, hormonal changes, ageing, etc. This medicine works by reducing the levels of melanin (the pigment responsible for skin darkening) in your skin. Thus, it lightens the dark-coloured patches and spots on your skin. Melalite 15 Cream has some minor side effects like skin redness, dry skin, itching, and peeling of the skin. Before you start using it, your doctor may suggest that you perform a patch test by applying it to a small area of your skin. This will help you to know how your skin will react to Melalite 15 Cream. Discontinue the use if you experience excessive itching or swelling and contact your doctor. Melalite 15 Cream is recommended for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area before applying this medication. Apply a thin layer of this cream and spread it evenly. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream. To see the effects of this medicine, use it regularly as advised by your doctor. If you do not notice any change in your skin condition even after two months, consult your doctor for further guidance. Melalite 15 Cream should be used only after your doctor’s recommendation if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
