Description

Piriton CS Cough Suppressant is a combination medicine consists of dextromethorphan and chlorpheniramine. It is used to treat dry cough. It is also an effective medication for the treatment of allergic symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, throat irritation, watery eyes, and redness of the nose. Piriton CS Cough Suppressant reduces the activity of the cough centre in the brain and by stopping the effects of histamine that causes allergic symptoms. Piriton CS Cough Suppressant show some side effects such as drowsiness, constipation, sweating, shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or bother you. Do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery after taking this medicine as it can cause drowsiness and dizziness. Avoid using this syrup if you are previously allergic to it. Piriton CS Cough Suppressant can be taken with or without food at the dose and duration that has been prescribed. Do not stop using it without consulting your doctor as abrupt discontinuation of this medicine may cause your symptoms to recur. If you still feel unwell after completing the treatment course, consult your doctor. Piriton CS Cough Suppressant is not recommended to use if you have ulcers, liver or kidney diseases as it can worsen your condition. It is recommended to consult your doctor before using Piriton CS Cough Suppressant if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not recommended to use this medicine in children under 6 years of age.
