Description

Q-MIND SR 50 MG TABLET is an antipsychotic medicine containing Quetiapine as an active ingredient. It is used for the treatment of mental conditions like Schizophrenia (a person develops unreal thoughts and behaviour), depression (a condition that includes low mood and loss of interest), and bipolar disorder (extreme mood swings and changes in a person's energy levels and behaviour). It works by stopping the release of various chemical substances in the brain responsible for such mental conditions. Q-MIND SR 50 MG TABLET can cause side effects like weight gain, weakness, stomach upset, low blood pressure, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines as this medicine can make you dizzy or drowsy. Q-MIND SR 50 MG TABLET can be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in your body. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on your underlying condition. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms (such as dizziness, irritability, sleep problems, nausea, vomiting, headache, etc.). Q-MIND SR 50 MG TABLET is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor about your current medications and existing medical conditions on priority.
