Description

Strocit 500 MG Tablet is a medicine with neuroprotective effects (protects the nerves). Hence, it is used in the treatment of brain stroke (a condition that occurs due to improper blood supply to the brain), memory loss, and movement disorders associated with ageing. It works by increasing the level of certain brain chemicals necessary for proper brain function. It also prevents damage to your nerve cells and nourishes them back to health again. Strocit 500 MG Tablet shows side effects like stomach discomfort, restlessness, diarrhoea, and headache. However, these side effects may subside by themselves as your body adjusts to the medicine. Strocit 500 MG Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it every day at the same time every day as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor depending on your health condition. Do not discontinue this medicine without consulting your doctor. Strocit 500 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

Acute ischemic stroke occurs due to blockage of a blood vessel by a clot causing limited blood flow to your brain. Strocit 500 MG Tablet is used for recovery from a brain stroke.

Cerebral insufficiency

Cerebral insufficiency occurs when there is a lack of proper blood flow to your brain due to brain injury or blood clots. It can result in memory loss, poor concentration and lack of orientation. Strocit 500 MG Tablet is used to prevent further decline in your brain functions.

Alzheimer's disease

Alzheimer's disease is a neurological condition in which the death of brain cells may lead to loss of memory, ability to think, communicate or handle daily activities. Strocit 500 MG Tablet protects the brain cells from damage and also repairs your damaged brain cells. Therefore, this medicine is used to improve your brain function in such conditions.

Parkinsonism

Parkinsonism is a brain disorder associated with age that affects movement. The damaged tissue in your brain causes weakness in muscles leading to stiffness, shakiness in your hands and legs. Missed Dose

Try not to skip the dose of Strocit 500 MG Tablet. In case you missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
