Instructions
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment of Telplus Tablet as it may cause further decrease in your blood pressure. You may experience symptoms such as dizziness, fainting, change in heart rate, etc. Avoid performing activities such as driving or operating machines.
Interaction with Medicine
Disease interactions
Heart failure occurs when your heart muscle is not able to pump blood normally. Telplus Tablet should be used with caution if you have conditions such as heart failure because this medicine may worsen your condition. Your doctor will closely monitor the functioning of your heart while you take this medicine.
Telplus Tablet should be used with caution if you have hypotension (low blood pressure) as this medicine may further lower your blood pressure and worsen your condition. Monitor your blood pressure regularly while you are taking this medicine.
Telplus Tablet should be used with caution if you have kidney disease as a diseased kidney will not filter the medicine properly. Your doctor can suggest another suitable medicine or adjust the dose according to your kidney function.
Telplus Tablet should be used with caution if you have liver problems as it is broken down in the liver. Liver damage may lead to the accumulation of this medicine and increases the risk of side effects. Your doctor may suggest tests to monitor your liver functions and suggest appropriate dose adjustments based on your condition.
Food interactions
Consumption of grapefruit juice is not recommended as it increases the concentration of Telplus Tablet in your body and increase the risk of side effects.
Lab interactions
Urinary vanillylmandelic acid
Urinary vanillylmandelic acid test is performed to determine the presence of certain tumours. Inform your doctor or the lab technician about the use of Telplus Tablet as this medicine is likely to give a false positive result.
