How it works
Corex DX Syrup is a combination of chlorpheniramine and dextromethorphan. Dextromethorphan reduces the activity of the cough centre in the brain and thus helps in suppressing the cough. Chlorpheniramine works by stopping the action of a natural substance produced by the body called histamine which is responsible for causing allergic symptoms. Hence, this combination is effective for treating cough and associated allergic symptoms.
