Description
Escot Cream is a medicine that consists of Nifedipine and Lidocaine. It is used for the treatment of anal fissures. Anal fissures are small tears of skin around your anus (the opening through which stool passes out of your body). Escot Cream works by blocking the action of calcium in the smooth muscles, thus reducing pain. Escot Cream shows side effects like itching or burning sensation, irritation, rash or pain at the site of application and headaches. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it. Escot Cream is a prescription medicine and should be used as prescribed by your doctor. Before using this medicine, make sure your hands are clean and dry. Follow all the instructions given in the package leaflet. Avoid contact with your eyes, ears, nose and mouth. wash immediately with water in case of accidental contact. Escot Cream is not recommended for children under the age of 18 years. Inform your doctor about your ongoing medications or other health conditions if any, before using this medicine.
