Description
Fynal OZ Tablet is a combination of Levofloxacin and Ornidazole. It is used to treat diarrhoea caused by bacteria and parasites (an organism that lives in another organism, called the host, and often harms it) in adults. Fynal OZ Tablet works by killing the bacteria and parasites by blocking their reproduction process. Fynal OZ Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache, and stomach pain. Avoid driving vehicles and operating machines after taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Fynal OZ Tablet can be taken with food for better absorption. Take this medicine at the prescribed time to maintain its steady levels in your body. Avoid taking this medicine more than the prescribed dose as an overdose may affect you. Do not skip any dose and finish the full course of the treatment even if you feel better after taking a few doses. Fynal OZ Tablet should be used cautiously if you are having tendon rupture (injuries), brain or kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age.

Allergy

Avoid taking Fynal OZ Tablet if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of your face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness or breathing difficulty, etc.

Tendinitis or tendon ruputure

Fynal OZ Tablet can cause muscle damage especially in old age. Avoid taking Fynal OZ Tablet if you have tendonitis (swelling of fibres that attach bone with muscles) or tendon rupture (a partial or complete tear of the tendon- the tissue that connects muscle to bone).

Myasthenia gravis

Myasthenia gravis is a skeletal muscle disorder primarily characterized by muscle weakness and muscle fatigue. Fynal OZ Tablet should not be used if you are having this condition as it may worsen your condition.

Pregnancy

Fynal OZ Tablet is not recommended to be used in pregnancy as it may affect your foetus. Please consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Breast-feeding

Fynal OZ Tablet is not recommended to be used during breastfeeding. Your doctor may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding while taking this medicine.
General warnings

Antibiotic resistance

Finish your entire course of treatment with Fynal OZ Tablet, even if the condition gets better to avoid antibiotic resistance (the bacteria may become resistant to antibiotics). If you still feel unwell after completing your antibiotic course, consult your doctor.

Photosensitivity

Fynal OZ Tablet may make you more sensitive to sunlight. Use sunscreens or wear protective clothing to avoid severe side effects before stepping outside while on treatment with this medicine.

Muscle damage

Fynal OZ Tablet can cause muscle damage usually on the tendons that surround your ankle. Inform your doctor if you feel pain, numbness, or tingling sensations in your muscles.

Driving or operating machine

Fynal OZ Tablet may cause dizziness, confusion, or fits. Do not drive vehicles or operate machines after taking this medicine.

Missed Dose

If you missed a Fynal OZ Tablet dose, take it as soon as you remember. If the time of your next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the next scheduled dose. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one.

Overdose

Never take more than the prescribed dose. If you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of Fynal OZ Tablet, contact your doctor immediately.

Fynal OZ Tablet may cause a heart rhythm problem called prolonged QT intervals (an electrical heartbeat disturbance) if you are taking medications for heart conditions. It may result in fast, rapid, and irregular heartbeats.

Kidney Disease

Use Fynal OZ Tablet with extreme caution if you have a kidney problem, due to the risk of kidney damage. Dose adjustment should be done based on your condition.

Fynal OZ Tablet is used to treat diarrhoea. It can be taken with food as advised by your doctor. Do not crush, break or chew the tablet in your mouth. Do not skip any dose and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Discontinuing the intake of this medicine abruptly recur the infection which is harder to treat. It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids and a healthy diet while taking Fynal OZ Tablet. It may cause dizziness. Do not drive vehicles or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how the medicine affects you. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, breastfeeding or have any conditions like kidney, liver, brain disorders before taking this medicine. Keep away from the reach of children and pets. Ensure that the unused medicine is disposed of properly. Do not share your medicine with others even if their symptoms appear to be the same as yours.

How it works
Fynal OZ Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of Levofloxacin and Ornidazole. Levofloxacin stops the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. Thus it cures the infection by killing or stopping the growth of bacteria. Ornidazole works by inhibiting the growth of protozoa or bacteria by interfering with the protein formation process.
