Description
Mofloren-D Eye Drops is a combination of Moxifloxacin and Dexamethasone. It is used to treat eye infections caused by bacteria. It is also used to prevent swelling and bacterial infections that may occur after an eye surgery. It works by killing the infection-causing bacteria and also reduces the swelling/redness associated with an infection. Mofloren-D Eye Drops may cause some less common side effects such as pain, discomfort, irritation, and dryness of the eyes. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. Mofloren-D Eye Drops is meant to be used in your eyes only. It should be instilled as prescribed by your doctor. Continue taking the medicine for the prescribed duration. Skipping doses or not completing the full course of therapy may result in decreased effectiveness of the medicine or increased risk of re-infection that would be difficult to treat in the future. This medicine is effective only for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and not viruses or fungi. Mofloren-D Eye Drops is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are applying any other medicines in your eyes or have any other eye problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding before using this medicine.

Mofloren-D Eye Drops is a combination of Moxifloxacin and Dexamethasone. Moxifloxacin stops the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase.
