Description
Moximac 400 MG Infusion is an antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections that affect the skin, lungs, nose, stomach, and intestine. It works by blocking the action of an enzyme required for bacterial multiplication. This prevents further growth and kills the infection-causing bacteria. Moximac 400 MG Infusion may cause some common side effects such as stomach pain, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting, headache, dizziness, etc. It may also cause pain/redness at the injection site. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, inform your doctor if these symptoms become severe. Moximac 400 MG Infusion is administered by a qualified healthcare professional in a clinical or hospital setting. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your condition. Hence, follow the instructions given by your doctor. This medication is effective only for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and not viruses. Moximac 400 MG Infusion is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, heart, or liver problems before starting the treatment. It is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Allergy

This medicine is broken down in your liver and impaired liver function may lead to the accumulation of this medicine. Hence, it may worsen your condition and lead to further liver damage.

Heart diseases

QT prolongation is a condition in which your heart muscles takes a longer time to recharge between a heart beat.Moximac 400 MG Infusion can cause QT prolongation, hence it is not recommended if you have heart conditions such as heart failure (condition in which heart is not able to pump sufficient amount of blood), arrhythmia (abnormal heart rhythm), electrolyte disturbances (abnormal concentration of electrolyte levels in the body) especially low potassium levels, and/or bradycardia (slow heart beat) as it may worsen your condition.

Peripheral Neuropathy

Peripheral neuropathy is a condition of nerve damage resulting in weakness, numbness, sensitivity to touch, pain usually in the hands and feet. Tendonitis or tendon rupture
