Nicetamol 250 MG Suspension (commonly called acetaminophen suspension) is an over-the-counter (OTC) medication used as first-line therapy for the treatment of fever and pain. It provides fast and effective relief from headaches, toothaches, backaches, menstrual pain, musculoskeletal pain associated with/without fever. It acts by decreasing the intensity of pain signals to the brain and preventing the release of substances that increases pain and body temperature. Nicetamol 250 MG Suspension is generally well tolerated but may cause side effects like stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting. It is safe to use this medicine within the recommended dosage but long-term overdose may lead to liver damage. When Nicetamol 250 MG Suspension is used along with anti-seizure medications, anaesthetics, and barbiturates, it can cause liver problems. Consult your doctor before using this medicine if you have any liver or kidney conditions as this medicine can worsen them. Nicetamol 250 MG Suspension should be taken with food to avoid stomach irritation. You should maintain a 6-hour gap between each dose. Nicetamol 250 MG Suspension is safe to use in children, pregnant and breastfeeding women. The dose and strength of this medicine depend on the age and body weight of the children (1-5 years: 125 mg, 5-12 years: 250-500mg). It is advised to inform the doctor and lab technician about all your current medicines before undergoing any lab test.
Take Nicetamol 250 MG Suspension as advised by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before use and measure the dose of Nicetamol 250 MG Suspension using a measuring spoon or dropper as exactly advised by the doctor. Usage should never exceed the recommended daily maximum dosage limit of 4 grams in a 24-hour time period. Consult your doctor before using Nicetamol 250 MG Suspension in children.
