Description
Nitroject 50 MG Injection is used to manage angina attacks (sudden pains in your chest). It is used after a heart attack (blocked blood flow to your heart), where the pain is not relieved by oral medicines. Nitroject 50 MG Injection is also used to control blood pressure and to enhance blood flow to your heart during and after heart surgery. This medicine relaxes your blood vessels and helps more blood and oxygen to reach your heart. Nitroject 50 MG Injection shows side effects like headache, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, weakness, etc. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist for a long time or worsen. Nitroject 50 MG Injection is given in a hospital under the supervision of a healthcare professional. It is given as an intravenous (into a vein) injection. Your blood pressure will be carefully monitored when this medication is being given. Nitroject 50 MG Injection may possibly interact with other medicines. Inform your doctor about any other health issues you have or if you are undergoing any medical treatment before receiving this injection. Allergy

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve (a nerve responsible for good vision). It is caused by abnormally high pressure in your eyeball which can also lead to blindness. Glaucoma often has no symptoms other than gradual loss of vision. Nitroject 50 MG Injection is not recommended for use if you have glaucoma as this medicine may also increase pressure inside your eyes. This can potentially lead to blindness.

Increased intracranial pressure

Intracranial pressure (ICP) is the pressure exerted by fluids such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) inside your skull and on the brain tissue. Nitroject 50 MG Injection is not recommended if you have a condition where the intracranial pressure is elevated, as this medicine may worsen your condition.

Medicine for erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction occurs when a man can not get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. Nitroject 50 MG Injection is not recommended for use if you are taking medicines for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Pericarditis

Pericarditis is a swelling and irritation in the pericardium (the thin, sac-like membrane that surrounds your heart). Nitroject 50 MG Injection is not recommended if you have pericarditis. This medicine may lower your cardiac output (the amount of blood your heart pumps each minute) which can further worsen your condition.

Nitroject 50 MG Injection can lead to the development of methemoglobinemia. Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms like blue-coloured skin, headache, fatigue, lack of energy, etc.

Malnutrition
