ContainsOfloxacin (3 mg) + Dexamethasone (1 mg)
Description
Oflox-D Eye Drops is a combination of Ofloxacin and Dexamethasone. It is used to treat bacterial eye infections. This medicine works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. It also reduces the redness, swelling, and pain associated with an infection. Oflox-D Eye Drops may cause some less common side effects such as pain, discomfort, irritation, and dryness of the eyes. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. Oflox-D Eye Drops is meant to be used in your eyes only. It should be instilled in the affected eye(s) as directed by your doctor. Continue using the medicine for the prescribed duration. Skipping doses or not completing the course of treatment may result in decreased effectiveness of the medicine or increased risk of re-infection that would be difficult to treat in the future. This medicine is effective only for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and not viruses or fungi. Oflox-D Eye Drops is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using any other medicines in your eyes or have any other eye problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before using this medicine.
