Description
Pause 500 MG Tablet is an anti-fibrinolytic medicine (a medicine used for clotting of blood) containing Tranexamic acid. It is used in the treatment of uncontrollable bleeding conditions that are seen after tooth extraction, in menstruation, haemorrhage (the release of blood from a broken blood vessel), angioedema (painless swelling under the skin), etc. Pause 500 MG Tablet works by slowing the blood clotting and this action prevents loss of blood. It is one of the safest medicines that are used to control bleeding. Pause 500 MG Tablet may cause side effects such as pain in the chest, cough, shortness of breath, swelling of limbs, fatigue, etc. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Avoid driving vehicles or doing activities that require your concentration after taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Pause 500 MG Tablet is a prescription medicine. It can be taken with or without food. The dose of this medicine and the duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on your health condition and other underlying problems. Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Pause 500 MG Tablet. Pause 500 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding before taking Pause 500 MG Tablet. Also, inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, eye or heart problems before starting the treatment with this capsule.

Allergy

Acquired defective color vision

Pause 500 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in people with defective colour vision/colour blindness (a condition in which the individual may have difficulty in identifying different shades of colours) as this medicine has been reported to worsen this condition.

Subarachnoid hemorrhage

Subarachnoid haemorrhage is a condition in which there is bleeding into the area between the brain and its outer covering due to the rupture of a blood vessel.Pause 500 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in such conditions as it may worsen your health condition and cause serious side effects.

Obstructive blood clotting disorder

Pause 500 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you have clotting disorders of the heart and blood vessels as may lead to serious side effects. The clots may also move from the place of origin and lodge in other locations.

Use of contraceptives

Eye disorders

Missed Dose
