Description
Rantac MPS Suspension is a combination of Magaldrate and Simethicone. It is used to relieve symptoms such as heartburn, sour stomach, upset stomach, bloating (too much gas in the stomach), stomach discomfort, etc. It neutralises excess acid in the stomach. It also helps to break up the gas bubbles in the stomach so that they can be burped or passed down from the body. Rantac MPS Suspension shows side effects like bad taste in your mouth, diarrhoea, constipation, etc. These side effects are temporary and get resolved with time. However, consult your doctor if they persist or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Rantac MPS Suspension may be taken with food or as directed by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of treatment based on the severity of your medical condition. Avoid taking more or less than the recommended dose. Avoid the discontinuation of treatment without consulting your doctor, as your symptoms may recur and your condition may worsen. Take Rantac MPS Suspension after food or as instructed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before use. Avoid eating late at night or before bedtime. Eat at least two to three hours before lying down so that your body gets enough time to digest the food. Avoid eating spicy food or drinking caffeinated drinks (such as tea, coffee, and cola) to prevent stomach discomfort and acidity. Keep this medicine away from the reach of children and pets. Ensure that the unused medicine is disposed of properly.
