Description
Tazloc 40 MG Tablet is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure. This medicine also reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke by lowering blood pressure. It can also be used in diabetics to protect kidney function and prevent further damage. It works by relaxing your blood vessels and promoting the free flow of blood. Tazloc 40 MG Tablet has some side effects like back pain, stomach pain, weakness, diarrhoea, sinus pain, and congestion. These side effects may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a longer time or worsen. Avoid activities that require high mental alertness like driving vehicles and operating machines as this medicine may cause dizziness. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Tazloc 40 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Take this medicine every day at the same time to maintain a constant level in your blood. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor as it may increase your blood pressure. Exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet besides using this medicine for maximum benefits. Tazloc 40 MG Tablet may not be suitable for all people. It is not safe to use this medicine in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data for use are not available. Allergy

Hypotension

Hypotension is low blood pressure. Tazloc 40 MG Tablet may lead to hypotension if you take it in high doses. Your doctor may adjust the dose of this medicine based on your clinical condition.

Hyperkalemia

Tazloc 40 MG Tablet may cause an increase in the potassium levels in your blood (hyperkalemia). Use this medicine with caution if you are taking potassium supplements, or if you have impaired kidney function. Your doctor may suggest tests to closely monitor your potassium levels if necessary while taking this medicine.

Liver disease

Tazloc 40 MG Tablet is primarily broken down and absorbed in your liver. Use this medicine with caution if you have impaired liver function. This may increase the level of the medicine in your blood causing an increased risk of side effects.

Use in children

Tazloc 40 MG Tablet is not recommended to use in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not available.

Driving vehicles and operating machines

Tazloc 40 MG Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness in some people. Avoid driving vehicles and operating machines if you experience any such symptoms.

Missed Dose

Tazloc 40 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food. Follow the instructions given by your doctor. Take this medicine at the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Do not break or crush the tablet in your mouth. Regular exercise and eating a low sodium diet besides taking this medicine may show better results. Avoid Potassium-rich foods while taking this medication. Remember that this medicine will not cure your high blood pressure, but it does help control it. Hence, do not stop taking this medicine even if you feel better after a few doses as it is a long-term treatment. Keep the medicine away from children and pets. Do not use this medicine after the date of expiry. This medicine can cause dizziness, so get up slowly from a sitting position to avoid feeling dizzy.
