Description
Tetrafol 7.5 Tablet is a naturally occurring form of vitamin B that is necessary for maintaining important functions in the body. It is a vitamin supplement used to treat nutritional deficiency and anaemia (low number of red blood cells). The higher dose of this medicine (7.5mg to 15mg) is also used as an adjunctive in treating decreased folate levels or hyperhomocysteinemia (high levels of amino acid in the blood) in Schizophrenia (a mental disorder that affects a person's ability to think, feel, and perceive reality) or Depression (a mood disorder with a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest). Tetrafol 7.5 Tablet may cause common side effects such as diarrhoea, headache, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Tetrafol 7.5 Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Avoid taking more or less than the recommended dose. Take it at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your body and for ease of remembering. Tetrafol 7.5 Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor about your pre-existing medical conditions and current medications to avoid any undesired effects. This medicine may be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding upon your doctor's recommendation.
