Description
Zyfor 300 mg Tablet Er is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the nose, throat, lungs, urinary tract, skin, etc., especially when other antibiotics are ineffective. Zyfor 300 mg Tablet Er should only be used to treat infections caused by bacteria and not fungi or viruses. It works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Zyfor 300 mg Tablet Er can cause some common side effects such as stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if they persist or become severe. Avoid activities that require high mental alertness like driving vehicles and operating machines as it may cause dizziness. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated while taking this medicine, as it can cause diarrhoea, which may lead to dehydration. Zyfor 300 mg Tablet Er may be taken with or without food. For the ease of remembering, take this medicine around the same time every day. Once you start taking an antibiotic, always complete the entire course of treatment to prevent the risk of re-infection and the development of antibiotic resistance (microorganisms develop the ability to defeat the medicines intended to kill them). Also, avoid taking it without your doctor's prescription, as any unnecessary use of an antibiotic can make it less effective against future infections. Zyfor 300 mg Tablet Er may not be suitable for everyone. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine. It should be used with caution if you have kidney problems. Your doctor may recommend tests to monitor your kidney function while you are taking this medicine. This will help your doctor adjust the dose to make sure this medicine is safe for you. Also, inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications, as they may affect or get affected by Zyfor 300 mg Tablet Er.
