Dr. Ashay Narendra Jadhav

Dr Ashay Narendra Jadhav had an MBBS graduate from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai, India. and completed his MBBS in 2016, including Internship, i.e., Foundation year 1 equivalent training. Thereafter, He entered specialty training in sports medicine as it was one of his interests. After completing his diploma he worked for a few years in various sports institutions and teams and later gave the PLAB exams. He is acquired full registration with GMC and a licence to practise in September 2023.He holdst the current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certificate since Feb 2024 which underscores his ability to effectively manage medical emergencies and provide timely interventions to critically ill patients. Clinical attachments in Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals in Respiratory Medicine & Acute Medicine has given him a good exposure to the working environment in the NHS & he has keen to work to further develop his skills. He recently did a clinical attachment in the Trauma & Orthopedics department in East Surrey hospital in Redhill, UK. Beyond his experience in hospital settings, He has actively participated in diverse work environments, which is evident by his involvement as a sports team doctor. He has published case reports in non peer reviewed journals which are as follows: 1. Clinical Pearl over Radiological Pitfall in Terminal Stage of Spondylolysis in Athlete: A Case Report and 2. Sinus Node Dysfunction in Competitive Athletes – A Case Report And Current Recommendations. he has also presented papers in National level conferences on 1. Doping knowledge, attitudes and practices among elite Indian athletes: current scenario and way forward and 2. Clinical spectrum of sports related concussion – a case series. Over the past five years in his role as a Sports Medicine doctor at different institutes, He has delivered numerous lectures on diverse subjects including sports medicine, basic life support, and antidoping. These sessions catered to a range of audiences, including coaches, athletes, and support staff, contributing to their understanding and awareness in these crucial areas.
