Dr. Himanshu Mehta

I was suffering from blunt force trauma to my retina when I visit Dr. Mehta. The moment I entered the clinic, I was Assisted with a very helpful nurse who understood what's ailing me and made sure that the minimum waiting period was comfortable and my eye treatment was starter immediately. After initial tests, Dr. Mehta explained me in detail and layman terms what was the issue and how and what can be done. The entire process was very calming considering I was afraid of the damage but he made me understand everything quite comfortably. Dr. Gupta is one of the most nicest doc that I've met and it's important cause in instance where I was afraid AF, no doc's degree is going to calm me down;albeit Dr. Mehta is one of the most renowned ophthalmologist in Mumbai. I would happily recommend him.

I got both eyes cataract done at The Vission Eye Center and both the surgeries went off very well, I had no pain and any kind of discomfort. Everything was done very well. Dr Mehta is simply amazing and has is very effecient. Most recommended eye clinic.

Have known Sir since my postgraduation days and he hasnt changed a bit. His charisma and his patient friendly attitude draws us to him. He is an excellent ophthalmic surgeon and the professionalism with which he attends to one and all is remarkable.

Dr Himanshu Mehta is a very unpleasant person. Not only was he rude and dismissive with my mother.. his staff also tried to exaggerate and scare my parents regarding her impending cataract operations. This stressed her out. During their visits he did not bother to show ***** courtesy of listening to the patient and discussing the course of action ahead.

Dr mehta and his juhu vission clinic are on company panel for my parents… every test was billed double the cost. An eye test that would cost 7000 for his normal patients was billed 14,000 for us. When we asked the staff about the discrepancy we were told “your company is paying and it’s like this only for corporate employees.”

Plus I am sold this eye kit for which the staff made me wait 30 mins because they wanted to register my number name and address to the product website so that I can order refils, ** ** * ** * ***** ***** ** *** ******* ** ******** ******** **** * ******* ** * **** **** *** **** **** ****** I am disappointed. This should not have cost me so much only to have to go to some other clinic with lesser facilities to get my problem fixed ******* **** ******* *** *** ******* ***** ***** * ******* ** ****** **** **** *** **** **** *** *** ** * **** **** ******

I am sorry its maybe rude but its the truth.

Dr Mehta's team is polite and supportive. They have explained me issue and treatment in very well manner. Also, they have shown humanity nature apart from treatment, Dr is very well experienced and immediately understood my concern and guided me on further course of action.

I Ankita Agrawal consulted Dr Himansu Mehta on 02.11.2018 . I paid fees Rs4500. But no investigation report is given. On being asked it has been informed us on phone .Its their secret record. we liked Dr Himansu Mehta on personal meeting . Its very surprise to see that such a reputed doctors do not give his opinion to patient in writing.

Initially I was very scared to go for the surgery, but when discussed with Dr.Himanshu Mehta he has cleared all my queries in detail. The procedure took place for hardly any time. The service was excellent....no more wearing lenses and spectacles... :)

Dr.Himanshu Mehta is really a great doctor and the time spent with him is worth the visit. however the way the clinic is managed especially during covid times is a little worrisome. to start with, I reached at 1545 for a 1600 appointment and I was called in only at 1630. Though the clinic is huge, there were often instances of over crowding and finally the biggest issue, I was not given a prescription of any medicine and was told to take some eye drops which could be purchased only from the clinic. while the eye drops are great, I am forced to go to the clinic again once the dose is over. 

The doctor is very good & encouraging his patients. Talks less but to the pt as he is v busy.i was uncomfortable with the Perimetry test- small congested place, staff talking a lot. 1 fellow did 1 eye then a lady did the other eye. Their mind was on another topic which they were discussing.my chair was being nudged by them. This test requires a lot of concentration.i am coming since last 7 yrs but I found lot of commotion this time maybe excess staff.
