Dr. Jaydeep A Walinjkar

Dr Jaydeep is a seasoned Vitreo-retinal surgeon with keen interest in research and academic activities along with excellent organizational skills. He holds an MBBS degree from Grant Medical college and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai and has completed his post-graduation degree from Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital Pvt. Ltd. He has also completed a Research-cum-clinical fellowship in Vitreo-retina at the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.Dr. Jaydeep has over nine years of experience as a trained Vitreo-retinal surgeon and has performed more than five thousand vitreo-retinal surgeries. These include simple and complex rhegmatogenous retinal detachments, diabetic vitrectomies, macular hole surgeries, ocular trauma surgeries, posterior segment complications of anterior segment surgeries including scleral fixated IOL’s and paediatric retinal surgeries. He is also an excellent Cataract surgeon and extremely skilled in all ECCE, SICS and Phacoemulsification surgeries. He has presented numerous scientific papers/posters at various National and International conferences.
