Happy with: Explanation of the health issue
Although we had an appointment with the doctor at 12 noon, we had to wait several hours to see him and that too after the receptionist was reminded several times that both the patients were very senior citizens, one who was a stroke patient with peripheral neuropathy and who could not sit for for very long and the other who was just recovering from surgery. I had to threaten the receptionist that we were going to leave if we were not taken in immediately and only then were we allowed to go in .....and wait some more!!

I have been going to Dr Prabhudesai for last 15 years or so, he is a very good doctor. But the staff is very rude and there is too much wait time. I had an appointment for1 pm and I was not even attended to until 3 pm that too after I had checked on multiple times and lost my patience. The staff won’t answer your queries and won’t tell when will the doctor actually see you. I recommend the doctor highly for his skill but the staff needs to be more organised n polite to the patients. I saw them treat the same to some of the senior citizens as well.

Hoped for better: Wait time
He is a good doctor, there is no doubt about it. However I feel that there is no point in taking appointments on practo before hand coz you will anyway be waiting for an eternity to get anything done here. I booked the appointment for 12pm. Reached 11:30. The doctor saw my mom at 1:30 coz she had to wait for the pupils to be delayed. Till then it was fine. The doctor prescribed a test after that. It is 3:15 now and I am still waiting for the test to be done. It is a 2 minute test for which I have been waiting for last 1.5 hours. And the guy at the reception says I need to wait for another hour. To say that I am disgruntled and irritated will be a huge understatement.
P.S. They finally took my mom in for the test after I made a bit of a scene asking them to reverse the payment.

* ***** ********* * ********* ** ****** ** ************ I am going to avoid this place for following reasons,1. Wait Time - OMG! It does not matter if you have booked it through Practo. It is going to take more than an hour . In our case it was 2 hrs. for a simple eye check up.2. Care less Attitude of StaffThey just do not care. For them patients are just numbers. Always busy in there paperwork. You will have to ask when you will be your turn.3. No Paperwork GivenJust gave the bill for Rs 800 fees.Have to ask to provide papers to make new glasses for my mother and the prescribed eye drop. Waited around 40 mins to have the paper. Asked couple of times to the front desk person but he did not seem to care was more interested in paperwork.4. Felt as if they are doing some favours on patients. Seen other patients also getting frustrated with waiting time and casual attitude of staff.
Visited For Dry Eyes
Doctor is polite and good but in my case the treatment didn't help me. Medicines given to me didn't even give a temporary relief and i was hoping for a permanent cure. Also would like to mention that the dry eye test cost me aroun 2000 rupees while the same test cost me 200 rupees else where. I don't care about the fees, I was ready to pay double if the treatment had helpmed me :(

This clinic don't CONSIDER APPOINTMENTS MADE THROUGH PRACTO.. Still sharing review as I liked the treatment received from the doctor. He is very experienced doctor, he explained me the reason behind the problem I am facing, will recommend this doctor for eye related problems.
clinic is well equipped. despite of loads of patients doctor allotted enough time to explain all the aspects of condition and surgical measures Also he was available for any clarifications on phone. he always cleared any doubts. Overall very good experience.
Dr Prabhudesai was recommended to me by another eye surgeon. He has been looking after my father's eyes for the last 2-3 years. Dr Prabhudesai, despite being busy, is thorough and professional. He takes the time to explain the problems and suggests alternative solutions where possible. His staff and facilities are also excellent. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
I am a wheel-chair diabetic patient. I came from Delhi, with detachment of left eye retina and holes therein. Dr Prabhudesai and his team were very caring during surgery to rectify the retina and subsequent post operative follow-up procedures. I am progressing satisfactorily.
