Dr. Vandana Khanijo

Would like to share my experience - I have been visiting Dr Vandana Khanijo for last 2 years, recently we have been blessed with a baby girl.

She not only medically helped me but even emotionally. Initial 1 year was tough for me; when I was not able to conceive because of an issue. It was not the medication I needed that time, it was the mental support which she helped me with, to go ahead with a positive note in life and I was able to conceive within few months.

Ma'am is very straight to her point and her valuable tips and suggestions; I will always remember throughout my life.

I'll be ever thankful to Dr Vandana for helping us get our precious gift.

Initially when we saw the reviews, we were bit apprehensive but when our friend referred her, we thought of giving it a try. We had a great consultation. She is very friendly, explains everything really well, excellent at what she does and always answers all our queries with patience. Through out our pregnancy, she helped us and took great care of my wife. She is straight forward and direct which might come across to some as being rude but it's not. Her team at Jehangir is great as well. A huge shout out to Dr. Deepak who motivated and took great care of my wife during labor. Thanks to mam, we got the best gift of our life, our healthy baby girl. 😀 'Thanks' doesn't even comes close to the gratitude our family has for you. 🙏

We had many questions since its our first baby but couldn't ask even one cos she had this unpleasant rude unapproachable personality. My hubby was excited so he asked a question about having veg or nonveg which she already mentioned however he wanted to give some instances when I had felt as if i am not able to digest nonveg but he couldn't complete his query as she said "Dint you hear when I said it in the first place?". I expect my doc to be approachable someone with whom I am comfortable, her face made me uneasy and her behaviour left me terrified. I felt she was in a hurry and just wanted to finish it asap.

I visited her few months ago regarding an intermittent bleeding I had. She checked me in a rush and me to explain the problem quickly. She was not ready to even hear me properly. She gave me a medicine to stop bleeding and asked me to get a test done, however I had to go out of town so the test got procrastinated and the medicine helped stop the bleeding. As the bleeding restarted again after few months i visited her asking her to write the test again and told her what happened last time. She was so impolite and disrespectful, the moment I got in she asked for the papers and I told her that I misplaced her prescription. Over that she humiliated me telling how can I just enter without any previous paper and that I am wasting her time. When I tried to explain she interrupted saying she is not interested in hearing my story. She pointed at my top taunting if I ever misplaced my garments that I misplaced her prescription. She would rather just say that she doesn't want to treat me, there was absolutely no reason for her to point me personally. She is highly inapproachable a doctor I have ever experienced.

Doctor is extremely busy always and has no time to even check your reports....or ask for detailed questions for examination..she doesn't give anyone personal attention....she acts rude sometimes which is one of the worst things.....if there are some complications or any planned treatment required....not recommended at all

She is a very good doctor who answers all your queries properly. She is very friendly and clearly says do s and don't s during pregnancy. Pregnancy becomes a breeze walk when you have such a nice doctor like her who makes you feel comfortable..You can ask any questions and she patiently answers .I was recommended by my friend and I was happy to have her as my doctor during my pregnancy.

Visited yesterday. Long wait of more than one hour as appointment taken through Practo was not confirmed by Apollo. Second time this has happened. *** *** ****** ** ****, made me feel comfortable and worked through with me and my issues. Definitely recommended.

No more words, just one thing. We were visiting Dr. Khanijo, when we were in Pune, during my second born's pregnancy and continued visiting her when we moved to Aurangabad. Now that we are in Kochi, next week we are flying to Pune to meet Dr. Khanijo. She is such an experienced doctor and above all a great human being. We visited her more than 10 times over many years and we vouch for her goodness. Do I need to explain more?
