Dr. Alpa Alok Modi

I was diagnosed with lymphoma in Sep 2016. My wife is an old patient of Dr Alok Modi at Kevalya hospital, so we came to know that Dr Alpa Modi is an oncosurgeon from Tata hospital and working as the head of oncology department of Kevalya Hospital. Initially I was not having any generalized symptoms or complications and so I was not very keen on chemotherapy. We started homeopathic medicines which I am taking today also.

Now I started having dizziness, giddiness, change in voice so after re consultation with Alpa Madam, I started on chemotherapy medicines. Since Dr Alpa Modi has full team of oncosurgeons, oncologists who specialize in chemotherapy protocols, I was evaluated thoroughly and my chemotherapy cycles were started by Dr Alpa Modi at Kevalya Hospital.

I have completed three chemotherapy cycles at Kevalya Hospital so far successfully with no complications.

The chemotherapy medicines are known to be toxic medicines and they are given intravenously through the vein in the blood and I was given very comfortably.

Nursing care was excellent and I did not get any complications of receiving chemotherapy. Kevalya Hospital is clean and they maintain cleanness with a dedicated housekeeping staff. The nursing team is very good and caring.

Dr Alpa Modi is jovial, takes times to explain your disease and and its treatment and possible complications. She took pains to talk to my wife and my family also and was available when i need ed to approach her with my concerns about my disease.

Overall I had a good and comfortable experience in spite of such bad disease and I am in good health.

My mother has suffered from gallstones since Jan 2023. We have consulted other doctors but finally decided to get operated on under dr Alpa Modi. I was referred by Dr Aruna who is an ayurvedic doctor. Dr Aruna is my mother's doctor. I started treatment in end of January. I have taken Ayurvedic treatment for general health problems. I had a lump in my right axilla for which I was scared. Dr Aruna has treated me earlier. I was treated here at Kevalya hospital by Dr Alpa Modi who counselled me and did a FNAC which is a bedside,quick painless procedure and confirmed that it is tuberculosis and relieved my mental stress. It was a very good experience. Treatment was given with human care. It is unlike other 5 star hospitals where we end up paying much more. Here the bills are very reasonable and regular visits by the doctor three times daily. We are extremely thankful for getting my son trested here and on time. He was admitted and treated at Jupiter hospital 1 year back for intestinal intussuception.
