ACL injury
While playing football today, I faced an minor ACL tear in my right knee. It's paining while climbing stairs. I'm using a knee support (with metal on both the side to support knee while walking).

Quadriceps exercise Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube ornormal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi, Greetings s/w engineer, Based on your BMI you are little over weight. Probably you may have little pain while stepping up was due to knee lock. Anyway please follow the below things carefully. 1. Apply RICE method for acute condition. 2. Once pain subsided start the isometric exercise to 'Q'ceps for 3 weeks 3. Stretching to calf and Hamstring muscles 4. Use knee brace or knee cap to avoid unwanted movement 5. Start MCL, ACL strengthening 6. If you play regular food ball than you have to strengthen core muscles

Knee injuries are of various types it's not essential it's acl injuries visit a sports Physiotherapist he will do drawers test ,a physical test to know what exactly the injury is.

Hello.... First u should go through proper diagnosis. If it is minor ACL TEAR like grade 1 then then there is a proper, specific rehabilitation protocol for such injuries.

protect your knee from further injuries. maintain function as much as possible. use knee brace /cap for that . exercise: Isometric quads, foot ankle exer initially. initially do closed chain exercise. IFT/ UST/ faradic ms. stimulator is beneficial. but first make an appointment with a good physiotherapy. thanking you

Take rest, apply ice (3-4times)... Discontinue playing football for few days...avoid long time standing..use knee brace which you are already using while walking...and once swelling and pain subsides, you can start with strengthening exercises specially quadriceps muscle, hamstring muscle and other, if it would be ACL tear...
