I am sad and restless all the time, unable to sleep, unable to focus on my life or career. I try telling myself that this is just a phase.. But it's been there for over a year now. I also get suicidal thoughts. Though I know I am against it, I won't deny the fact that the thoughts about ending my life cross my mind.

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. All the mentioned symptoms are sign of stress and anxiety in your mind. May be work life balance or career or relationship related stress is causing such anxious and negative thoughts into your mind. When your mind is filled with such overwhelming thought, don't think of any hasty decisions.
