For checking BP at home digital BP apparatus can be used, for approximate estimation. The mercury type is accurate and onlydoctors can use it, to some extent the upper reading can be measured by a qualified sister/  nurse/ staff.charges vary with doctors,  you havetogoto the doctors clinic / hospital. The paramedical staff charges from 50 to 100 depending upon the location of your house, and city.
