Constant back pain
I am having back pain from constantly 7-8 days. Since I am an IT Professional, it may be due to sitting in front of PC for 7-8 hours. I also get a spinal chord ache in addition to this.

Ensure that you maintain an appropriate posture while working or sitting or walking....Take frequent stretch breaks and drink lots of water...Discontinue using pillow while sleeping straight...Do not lift heavy objects, especially after bending down....Eat a healthy wholesome meal which should satisfy your minerals and proteins requirement...take over the counter pain medications.. Consult nearest orthopedic surgeon they will do the needful.

Its most probably because of your sitting posture and travelling.

Go to a physiotherapist.. Ultrasonic therapy +IFT +Heating therapy +some strengthening exercises will be helpful.

At home.. Rest +hot water fomentation +pain killer gel +no long sitting +no forward bending +no weight lifting +avoid cold exposure +no manual exertions +no long travelling +no stair climbing +correct posture +sit tall +use lumbo sacral belt.

Meanwhile, try to break your sitting, get up frequently and do a few back extensions in standing. Keep your bottle of water away from you so you can get up frequently.
