Hello,
Need to check her CT scan , to understand what type of ILD she has, and do her CXRAY & 2DECHO. It is better , if you can consult a chest physician near your area. She has had already two admission in 6 months , so do not delay.
People living with so many co-morbidities affecting heart and lung and may be kidney as well, may have breathlessness and puffy extremities for several obvious reasons resulting from minuscule loss of equilibrium. She is already on loads of medications, hence, it’s really necessary to evaluate clinically to help her out. Please communicate with the concerned physician ASAP
Hi
The swelling could be because of low albumin or heart failure usually seen in patients with chronic lung diseases.
I don’t know the extent of ILD progression at present. But I would assume it’s advanced.
You would have to send me some CT scans and lung function tests if available to review before deciding upon treatment.
