Namaskaram, Bleeding gums can be because of a lot of reasons. Trauma , gingivitis can be the most common cause. The hardened minerals of the oral cavity is called as calculus. These deposits irritate the gingiva and cause swelling and bleeding of the gums. Normal brushing can not remove such hard deposits hence a round of professional scaling and deep cleaning is required . Once you have under gone the treatment the local irritants are removed from the site and healing of the gingiva takes place . kindly visit the dentist and get a through examination done so that this doesn't progress further. Team Shambhala.
