Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. I understand your concern towards your friend. She seems to be suffering from depressive symptoms including sleep disturbance and preoccupations. However more clarity is needed regarding her problem. Information regarding her hunger, energy levels etc would be more helpful to decide on the severity of her condition. It is easily manageable with appropriate treatment. Some counselling sessions and if needed medical help might be useful for her. My clinic is at OMR chennai. I would also be more than happy to help you with that if you are looking for online assistance. Discussions will be held confidential. You can directly consult with me through Practo as needed. Online chat consultation is available.
