Hello. Low Hb is common in this age. Please cut down on breastfeeding, avoid giving too much cow milk, use only “iron enriched “formula milk, give healthy solid foods like suji, ragi, dal soups, green veggies, eggs and mashed vegetables like beetroot. A supplement/syrup also would be advisable.
Next Steps
Consult on practo for further advice , reduce breastfeeding.

Hi, One of the reason behind less haemoglobin is iron deficiency, but there are other several factors also. A detailed information is required to recommend any thing specially for infants. If reason behind it only iron deficiency, it can be resolved by iron rich diet which can prepare by one to one discussion.
Next Steps
If you want you can chat directly with me through this practo app for further discussion.

Greetings for the day! I can understand your concern. Mostly toddlers of this age has iron deficiency anemia, the major reson is that they are breastfeed only and weaning is less or if weaning they are more fed on milk . Make sure you don't mix milk in each and every meal. Instead other foods like dal , veg soup or vegetables with millets or Roti or Rice.
Next Steps
Take a personalized plan by consulting on Practo online consultation
