Hi, thank you for your enquiry. You need to cut down on total carbohydrates especially cereals like white rice and its products like poha, maida based products such as biscuits, noodles, bread and sweet fruits especially banana and mango. Exercise 4-5 days/week which includes weight training is mandatory. Add protein in the form of eggs, meat, curd and paneer in 3 meals. Increase intake of vegetables except potato and sweet potato. For personalised online diet and exercise guidance please contact us.

Hi! Yes, millets can be beneficial in diabetes diet , but it’s important to take small quantities as your insulin intake depends on amount of carbohydrate foods that you eat. Try to include a combination of foods like dals, milk and milk products, raw vegetables and fruits as these can keep you full and allow you to take lesser carbohydrates. A detailed assessment is necessary to give you further advice.
Next Steps
Consult on practo.com for further diet advice
Health Tips
Do not take any medication/supplement without expert advice or prescription, do not take any carb-rich food without discussion
