Hello Yes it is totally safe. You can give 2-3 amlas everyday I.e he must consume 70 amla in a mnth. As he have history of copd, give amla in sabzi form not in juice form

Aamla can be given ,in different forms as per the age of the patient.children canbe given morabba/ jam/sweet chutney/ . Adults the above plus chutney,,cookedmashed aamla and salted with little spice, Just cook with salt and eat preseved. Kaala namak can be used. Just cut aamla put jeerax powder,salt,chilli to taste,and dry in sun preserve and eat. Can get chyavanprash without sugar. Aamla juice without additives.
