Those symptoms are due to throat infection. Most throat infections are caused by viral infections, which resolve gradually themselves within 7-10 days no treatment required. Azax 500 is an antibiotic to treat any bacterial infections, which will give no benefit if the infection is due to viral. Unnecessary use antibiotics will lead to antibiotic resistance in the future which can cause you problems in the future.
Next Steps
1. Wait for a week, continue Combiflam. 2. Do salt water gargling daily. 3. Steam inhalation daily. 4. Wear a protecting mask whenever going outside. 5. Otrivin nasal drops, one drop in each nostril, twice daily, only for 5 days. Don’t use more than 5 days.
Health Tips
1.If you feel the symptoms are worsening then Consult a near by good ENT, he will check your throat and see for any clues of bacterial infection and then he will prescribe you the appropriate antibiotic to be used. 2.If any time you feel difficulty in breathing, change in voice, fever not responding to Combiflam then go the nearest emergency immediately. 3. Always remember Viral throat infections will subside without any treatment, and never use antibiotics without consulting a doctor.
